Ashton pov

[Friday]

A few days have passed and I haven't seen or talked to Zach since the car situation. I told Tamara everything, who then told Chloe and Ricky. She thinks that I should go for it with Zach. Chloe thinks I should keep with Devin, Ricky doesn't care as long as its not Devin. I'm only fifteen, I'm nowhere close to legal age for anything. Until I tell my parents I will feel complete.

"Come on Ashton, Devin is the way to go. He's hot and tall." Chloe says.

The tenth grade is having an pep rally today. The school does this to get everyone pumped up the students basically. It's always the same old entertainment with the cheerleaders and the dance teams, along with the introduction to the teams that are in season. It's completely boring, nobody actually pays attention. The four of us just talked the whole time.

"Devin is trash, you should date Zach, he's nice, respectful and your family likes him." Tamara debates with Chloe.

"No, think about the babies."

"What babies? I'm not a woman." I whispered trying not to make our conversation noticeable.

"Ashton...i know."

"Zach is ten times better than Devin."

"You just say that because he's more your type." Chloe says rolling her eye.

"Hell yeah, Ashton likes him too." Tamara say joyously

"Tamara, I said that I liked him, but not in that way...."

"You called me a Wednesday after you got home that you almost kissed him."

"What!" Chloe yelled drawing attention to us. "You what?"

"Its no big deal." I said completely embarrassed.

"You almost had your first kiss?"

"Not my first kiss Chloe." I said trying to hide my face in my backpack wanting this conversation to end.

"What? Did I miss something?"

"No, I just didn't tell you."

"Who was your first kiss?"

Instead of saying his name out loud I took her arm and lined the first letter of his name hoping she can keep it to her self.

*gasp* "it's Devin?" She whispers. I nodded. Ricky jumps up in our conversation and inserts himself.

"Why?" Ricky asked.

"It just happens." I confess.

"Then it's settled, Devin is the one." Chloe geeks over my fake romance.

"Could you keep it down." I said.

"I'm sorry Ash it just like watching a K-Drama. Two guys fighting over one girl. And that girl is you."

"Chloe."

She continues to ramble on and on about how my life is a Korean drama in witch I don't get. I've never seen one.

"Shut up." Tamara taps her hard enough to keep her quiet.

After the assembly Ricky and I had lunch. Amongst the crowd of people I see Zach talking to his football friends were just getting out of class I just had to talk to him.

I walked up to him and his friends and made my presents known.

"Hey Zach," I said terrified that he might not want to talk to me. I tried doing one of Chloe's movies and pulled the elastic that was on my wrist, tie my hair up, and exposing my neck, hoping that he noticed.
