While I'm grateful that I worked things out with Tamara and we talked forever last night I knew that I had to be in good standings with the rest of my friends.

Ever since the chaos with Devin and the club I know I haven't been acting like a friend. I wasn't a good friend to Zach just leaving him alone. But being with Devin later that night made me feel like a new person. I know I have to do better as a friend and that's what I'm going to do.

As I made my way to the library with Tamara to sit with our friends at our usual spot it felt like the whole room was looking at me.

"Are people looking at me?" I asked. I felt like an exhibit at a museum.v

"Yeah, they are..." She confirmed.

"Why?"

"I don't know..."

I sat with my friends who were in a full conversation about something I have no idea about.

"Hey guys," I said making myself known.

"Oh look just who decided to get out of Devin's ass." Chloe said in a sarcastic tone.

"I'm sorry guys... I haven't been myself...."

"No, you haven't... You don't text or call... What happened with Zach? He told us you ran off with Devin like you always do."

"I'm sorry Chloe... I just..."

"Didn't y'all have a fight at the club? You saw him cheat but you went back to him?"

"Yeah, I know that's what I did...I can't take back what we did though..." I said with a smile.

Chloe gasps then exposing all of her teeth as she smiles. "What?!" She says in a loud whisper.

Ricky and Tamara couldn't look at me. He was too busy typing on his computer, and her eyes are stuck on Instagram. In which I understand because they don't like him, getting one friend's support is good for me.

"Why did you do it? How did you feel?" Chloe asked continuing the conversation.

"I don't know. I was... Nice..."

"Nice? Did it not hurt?" She then asked. Her eyes are wide open from disbelief.

"Yeah it hurt a little," I answered shyly.

"Damn! I'm so proud of you."

"What?" Tamara jumped in shocked my Chloe's response. "You are proud of him? Why?"

"What do you mean why?"

"It's Devin! The man that doesn't know to to commit to one person. They guy who thinks he can get away with everything because he is good looking..."

"Tam you sound very bitter. " Chloe says.

"What? I thought he didn't like him. Now you like him again? Pick a side..."

"Hey guys look, I know you both have your opinions but I don't care... He's mine ok. Can we please drop this conversation." I stepped in. The situation with Devin and I is complicated and I'm tired of talking about it with my friends.
