Two weeks later
"Nick!" I squeal enthusiastically as I run into his arms.
"Good morning." Nick greets me as he laughs, pulling me towards him by the waist and planting a kiss on my lips.
"Morning." I Kiss him back. I can feel him smiling into it.
We hadn't seen each other for 4 days due to some important meeting in California. I hug him tightly around the waits and he hugs me back, even tighter.
"Why didn't you wake me up in the morning?" I ask him as I rub circles on his back.
"You looked so peaceful, I wouldn't dare." He pouts and kisses a spot behind my ear.
He pulls back and looks at me excited. "I got you a little something."
"You did?"
"Mhm." He nods his head and opens a drawer, pulling out something in the shape of a square, perhaps a rectangle.
A book?
He hands it to me and I open it.
It's a book.
I realize I'm holding it the wrong way and turn it upside down,
The song of Achilles, The title reads.
I smile and turn the book around, reading the description.
It seems interesting, actually. Exactly the type of thing I would read.
I kiss me boyfriend on the cheek and look into his bright green eyes, "thank you. I'm definitely reading this as soon as I can."
"You're so welcome." He kisses my cheek, too.
A bright pink blush spreads across my cheeks. It's funny, we've been dating for 2 months yet I still have the biggest crush on this man.
He's my boyfriend, how could I have a crush on him?
I blush whenever he kisses me, I get embarrassed if I make a little mistake when I'm with him and I get startled when he touches me.
But it's no problem for me. I don't have a problem with it, but I still hope I'll get used to it soon.
He grabs my face and pulls me in for a deep kiss.
My eyes widen in shock at first, but I soon relax into the kiss as his tongue travels in my mouth.
The door suddenly bursts open. I jump in shock and nick's eyes immediately widen.
George is standing in the doorway with a disgusted look on his face. "What the fuck."
Nick laughs. "What, are we not allowed to kiss anymore?" He pulls me closer to his from the back and his arms snake around my waist.
George glances at me for a second, looking at me up and down.
And he doesn't look happy?
He looks mad.
More like disgusted.
Like genuinely disgusted.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" I laugh nervously.
"Actually, never mind." He rolls his eyes at me as he runs out and shuts the door behind him.
"What the fuck was he so dramatic for?" Nick laughs as he pulls a cigarette out of his pocket.
I furrow my eyebrows, "I think he's mad at me."
"At you?" He raises his voice slightly. "Why would he be?"
I shake my head, "I don't know but he looked seriously mad."
He rolls his eyes and takes my hand in his, "it's George, he's being overdramatic. Why would he be mad at you?" He kisses my hand.
"I don't know." I shrug as I look around.
He pulls me by the back of my head and I rest my head on his collarbone. I place a hand on top of his, which is caressing my cheek carefully.
I pull away and kiss his jaw, "I should probably go talk to him or something."
"I'll see you later, yeah?" He winks sarcastically.
"Just because you did that, you won't." I laugh as I shut the door.
I make my way down the hall, and surprisingly, I still see him making his way into another room.
"George!" I yell behind him but he keeps walking. He starts walking faster, indeed.
I run up to him to catch up but he walks into a dark room.
I try to turn on the lights but somebody else does it for me,
And slams my head onto the fucking wall, holding a gun to my head.
