"What can I get for you?" The man asks lazily, not turning to look at me or greet me.

"Did you mean 'good morning, sir, sorry for the delay'?" I mock, Zachary snorts and hides his face from behind me.

"Good morning, sir, sorry for the delay, what the fuck do you want?" The guy mocks, his expression changing to a straight face immediately.

"Go get your motherfucking manager, that's what I want." I smile at him sarcastically, and he just rolls his eyes.

"For not saying 'good morning'? Seriously?"

"No, ronan," my eyes dart down to his name tag. "I need you to get me your fucking manager because I need a motherfucking job, and that's none of your fucking business."

"Where are your manners?" He whispers quietly to himself, walking to another room.

"Up your mothers ass." I raise my voice for him to hear as he walks away, causing me to be the center of attention and get quite a few stares.

"Aiden, he could kick you out any second." Zachary pulls me down by the collar, whispering in my ear cautiously. "He may be annoying, but we could literally work here and be forced to see him everyday."

"If he wants to question my manners, he can show some of his own." I roll my eyes in annoyance, the guy was seriously annoying.

The guy suddenly walks back to his spot, leaving the room's door open. "Manager will be here in just a second." He says without turning to me, going back to his phone.

Zak swallows the lump in his throat, turning back to me and shaking his head as a 'dont you dare make an unnecessary comment' warning.

I just turn around, sighing dramatically and pretending like I didn't see the look he just gave me.

A guy suddenly walks out the room, I suppose the guy is the manager.

But he looks oddly familiar.

He looks oddly familiar, to the point where I turn to Zak to see if he seems to recognise this guy, too. I know this guy, I just don't remember how I know him.

But, Zak? He looks horrified. He looks terrified, his body starts trembling and he goes completely red, I could've heard his heartbeat from the other side of the room.

I turn back to the guy, studying him for a second, realising he's doing the same, but to Zachary.

A smirk immediately finds its way across his face, he chuckles a little bit. "Ivanov," Quietly whispers.

Zak's breath hitches, as he slowly steps behind me, trembling in fear.

But my face drops, because I recognise that smirk so well.

But I realise, now I'm almost the same height as him. I've grown, I've matured and I had almost completely forgotten about him.

He beat me up when I was twelve, he is one of the reasons Zachary's life is like a living hell. He ruined Zak. It's all his fault.

He raped Zachary. He raped my bestfriend, multiple times, and I thought we had gotten away from him. Coming here is the biggest mistake I have made in my life, because I just unlocked a traumatic moment for Zak.

I suddenly turn around, wrap my arm around his shoulders. "Come on, we're leaving." I whisper in his ear.

"You want a job?" Randy raises his voice so we can hear him as we walk away.

Zak suddenly stops in his place, turning back to him immediately.

"Zak, don't-" I try to grab his arm to stop him but he doesn't, runs back to Randy, not seeming so afraid this time.
