"I'm sorry, what the fuck?" I suddenly raise my voice. "You said there was somebody who wanted to talk to me, the fuck is this?"
He shrugs in response, putting his arms up in the air jokingly. "Yeah, and someone sent you a letter instead of talking to you in person."
"He just sends a letter down here and expects me to meet him? Alone? With no back up or soldiers? No fucking way in hell." I scoff. "He's not going to talk to me he's going to kill me."
"Nick, the guy is an old hag." Clay waves his hand in my face. "You can secretly have some backup waiting outside or something, not like he'll realize."
"They could kill me without anybody there to save me. Backup can't possibly get there so fast. They'll also probably lock the doors."
"Take a few bodyguards inside with you. Backup can still wait outside. Even if they can't arrive on time for help, the bodyguards can help you." Karl butts in. "Plus, you're like, stronger than all of them combined."
"I was going to say that too," George starts, "but on second thought, Alexander might just not let them in."
"Just say no?" Aiden shrugs.
"And get attacked? Thanks Aiden that's so fucking helpful." I roll my eyes at him. "I need to see him eventually, I just do not want to get killed."
"Why don't you write a letter back and tell him to come and see you instead?" A voice interrupts. A voice I've heard before, yet still don't recognise.
All heads suddenly turn to Zachary. "What?" He asks nervously, sliding down his chair slowly as his face blushes a deep red.
"That could work, but on second thought, what about backup?" Luke interrupts. "I mean, it's a smart idea but he could bring all of his men with him."
"We'd still be more than them." I defend. "Besides, who said we'd let them in? I could hire hundreds of bodyguards if I wanted too."
"Good one, Zak." Karl ruffles his hair as zak smiles awkwardly, clearly uncomfortable feeling all eyes on him.
"It's a great idea, actually." I suddenly say. "Thank you, Zachary."
He nods slowly, turning his head down to look over to the floor as soon as everyone turns away.
"When are we doing this?" Aaliyah suddenly asks.
"Soon. Perhaps tomorrow. I'll write to him now, it'll probably take about an hour until he gets the letter and I'll see him tomorrow."
"Go get some rest for now." George pats me on the back. "Have a moment to think about this, we'll discuss it later."
"Yeah, goodnight." Clay wraps his arm around George, shooting me a friendly smile as they both walk out the door.
I look over at Aiden, who stares back at me like I'm a maniac, shrugging his shoulders. "What?"
"Isn't it past your bedtime?"
"Fuck you." He rolls his eyes as he walks past me, his friends following close behind as ela starts laughing at him.
"Goodnight, everyone." I smile awkwardly at the others left in the room as I take Karl's hand in mine, walking out the door.
"Are you okay?" Karl suddenly asks.
"Why wouldn't I be?"
"Your breathing is unsteady." He points out. "And I can hear your heartbeat from over here."
"I'm okay." I shoot him a smile, turning away as fast as possible. "Nothing to worry about. It's not a big deal, I'll be fine."
He gets on the top of his toes, placing a kiss to my cheek. "You can do it, baby. You're stronger than all of them combined, physically and mentally."
