I wake up with a throbbing head ache.

I slowly look around the room to see Jack pacing up and down with a emotionless expression as he stops and runs his hand through his hair.

His head soon snaps in my direction as he sees that I'm awake making him smile.

He comes up to me and wraps his arms around me while snuggling into me.

"Scare me like that again and I'll kill you myself" he mumbles into the crook of my neck.

I roll my eyes before pulling away as sudden memories of us kissing enter my mind.

"W-what happened?" I asked hesitantly

His eyes suddenly widen as he ignores my question.

"Jack what's wrong?"

"Um, you're uh-"

I look down at myself as my jaw drops.

I'm fucking floating above my bed.

"What the fuck, what do I do!?" I yell

"Just calm down, try relaxing"

I take a couple deep breaths as I open my eyes to see that I'm safely seated on my bed.

"Okay what just happened"

Before Jack can answer Harahel walks in and looks between us.

"I guess she's awaken" he says

"Question, why was she floating?"

Harahel smiles brightly before looking back at me.

"If you don't recall certain emotions will activate her powers"

Jack gives him a thoughtful look until he smirks.

"And what emotion were you feeling Carrie" he says teasingly.

I blush and look away avoiding his teasing eyes.

"Jack leave her alone" Harahel says with an amused smile

I roll my eyes at the both of them before grudgingly turning over and hiding my face in the bed covers.

I hear the door close but I stay in my position not knowing if Jack would have left or not.

"Carrie" Jack says playfully making me groan

"Why are you embarrassed"

"I'm not" I grumble

"You sure, it think you are"

"Really?" I say sarcastically as I face him

"Yes, and I believe it has something to do with our kiss"

My cheeks heat up again as I think about Jacks lips on mine.

"Shut up"

He lets out a laugh as he sits down on the bed.

"Make me." he whispers into my ear making me shiver.

I bite my lip as I divert my gaze between his brown eyes and his kissable lips.

As we lean in I hear the door open making me push Jack away from me as I try to get as much distance between us as possible.

"By the way dinners ready if you're hungry" Harahel says as he pokes his head through the door.

"Okay thank you" I say quickly as I get up and exit the room.
