April 22 Tuesday

Yoongi was losing his mind. Every time he tried to get Jimin alone, someone would always show up, mostly Taemin, which Yoongi can't argue against. The boy had been staying in the pack house for over a week now, but Yoongi was hoping he could pull Jimin aside to talk. If it wasn't Taemin, it was someone else. Yoongi was frustrated, to say the least.

All through dinner, Yoongi kept his eyes on Jimin. He would engage in conversation with his appa and the others, but as soon as there was a lull in the conversation, Yoongi's eyes would find their way back to look at Jimin. His mind worked overtime trying to figure out how to bring up the subject without causing a scene. You never know with Jimin how he will react.

By the time everyone was done eating, Yoongi decided it was best not to say anything. He watched as Jimin and Taemin got up to clear the table and wash the dishes in the kitchen. Hoseok had been talking to him about his and Jungkook's coming graduation but Yoongi wasn't paying attention. Hoseok looked around and said "What's his problem?" when Yoongi quietly stood up and left room right in the middle of his sentence.

Jungkook watched his brother's back, knowing Yoongi wasn't hearing anything, and answered, "He is just distracted by a little problem he has. You know how he gets when he is trying to figure something out."

"Ah, ok. I was worried it was something I said." Hoseok said, and he went back to talking about their graduation plans. Jungkook didn't think anymore about his brother, it was something Yoongi needed to work out himself. Jungkook joined in the graduation discussion. He wanted a small graduation party with just the family but his mom, as Luna always rented a venue and threw a party for all the pack members that graduate high school every year. He knew this year would be no different.

Yoongi stayed up late working on some training exercises that Head Guardian KeonHo had asked him to review. The tapping of the keyboard was the only sound he could hear in his office, the chill in the evening air went unnoticed by the alpha as he focused on what he was doing. He used to make sure he kept the fire going to keep his room warm for the omega, but since Jimin never comes in his office anymore he doesn't bother to even start one.

Closing his laptop with a sigh, Yoongi decided to stop working. It was almost midnight. He needed to get some sleep. Leaning back in his chair, he thought about how Namjoon was doing. If Namjoon were here they would be joking around or working on music together. Yoongi understood why Namjoon decided to go to a different alpha school and leave the pack territory.

This issue between Jungkook and Taehyung has really put a strain on their friendship. They still text every now and then, but Yoongi doesn't want to bother Namjoon too often. Not only does Yoongi respect Namjoon's choice, but he knows full well that Namjoon has a lot on his mind, being in a new school and having a new family as well. He didn't want to add to that by talking about his own problems. But on nights like this, when he is bothered by something and can't work it out, he really missed his best friend.

Stifling another yawn, Yoongi stands up to shut the windows since the wind was picking up. The cold didn't bother him too much, but the breeze coming in was tossing his papers around and knocking things over. Yoongi liked his office neat and orderly. He picked up the magazines that he didn't remember bringing in, must have been something Jimin was reading.

Thumbing thru the pages of the Dance magazine, Yoongi's mind returned to his current dilemma about how to talk to Jimin. There is no denying that the omega was upset with him about something even before Yoongi spanked him. Maybe Yoongi should just let it go. After all, Jimin has been treating Yoongi with more respect and is not purposely running away from him anymore.

Placing the magazines on the small accent table between the two chairs, Yoongi decides to do just that. He has worried about this thing for long enough. Apparently, Jimin has forgotten about it, and as long as Jimin behaves, there really wasn't anything else Yoongi could do. He could always just wait until the next time. And with Jimin, Yoongi knew there would be a next time.
