Yoongi was working in his office when he heard squeals of laughter coming from Taehyung and the pup. Yoongi's curiosity got the better of him as he got up to see what was going on. For some reason, Yoongi always had a soft spot for Taehyung. He wasn't sure why. Maybe it was because Jungkook hurt him with the rejection, and he felt sorry for him. Maybe it was because Taehyung was cute and sassy and didn't take no for an answer even before that.

Or maybe it was because he heard Namjoon talk so much about him, whatever the reason was, Yoongi could not stay mad at Taehyung for long. Jungkook had told him that they confessed to each other the day before the trial and had straightened out their differences. That was all Yoongi wanted for his little brother. Now that they explained and apologized to each other, hopefully, Jungkook and his little mate could repair their bond and find their happiness.

Halfway to the kitchen, he could smell another certain omega's happiness. Brown sugar and fresh coffee scent filled the air the closer Yoongi got to the dining room where the noises were coming from, warning him that Jimin was also in the room with Taehyung and the pup. Yoongi has not talked to Jimin since that day in his office. He deleted all his social media sites. He never really posted anything on his page, he just used them to watch the things that Jimin posted. True to his words that day, Yoongi acts like Jimin does not exist and ignores him.

As soon as he entered the room, he saw complete chaos. Shaking his head, he watched Taehyung holding up the pink-painted pup under the pup's arms, so he was dangling while Jimin was trying to wipe the pup off with wet wipes but was, in fact, making it worse by turning the pup from pink to purple. 'This was why you never left your omegas alone without supervision.' Yoongi thought as he looked around the mess.

After Taehyung took the pup to the bathtub, Yoongi stayed behind to help Jimin clean up the table and watched as Jimin pulled off the masking tape of the canvas they had been attempting to let the pup paint. Yoongi had to admit it was creative, and he was sure his brother would like it. Yoongi picked up the paper towels that were covered in blue and pink paint and walked out of the room, going back to his office to finish the daily report he had been working on about the perimeter check.

Later that evening

Jungkook had returned from the trip that appa had sent him to settle a dispute with another pack since Jungkook was already friends with their leader's son. At dinner, Yoongi listened to his brother tell stories of everything that happened on his trip. Eun-Chong was super clingy to Jungkook and would not let go of him. Yoongi also noticed that Taehyung and Jimin were also really nervous and jumpy. While everyone was saying that the pup must have just missed his appa, Yoongi's eyes narrowed as he saw the guilty look pass between Taehyung and Jimin. Those two were hiding something again.

After dinner, everyone got up to go to their individual rooms. Yoongi grabbed Jimin by his hand and secretly held him in place in the kitchen as everyone left the dining room. Jimin quietly wondered why Yoongi was holding him back since he hasn't talked to him in almost a month. 'He really is so handsome,' Jimin thought as he watched Yoongi's face as Yoongi watched the last person disappear down the hall. After everyone was gone, Yoongi pushed Jimin against the counter by the stove and pinned him with his arms.

Yoongi looked down at the little omega in front of him as Jimin stared wide eyed back at him. Jimin clasped his hands together in front of his chest since he didn't know what to do with them. Yoongi leaned in close to Jimin's face, looked him directly in the eye and calmly said "What are you hiding now, omega."

"I don't know what you mean. I am not hiding anything. You already know everything." Jimin said breathlessly and lowered his head down, biting his thumbnail nervously.
