The past week everyone was super busy cleaning up the packhouse, working on cleaning up and rebuilding the village, making sure the villagers had what they needed, and organizing incoming food and supplies. Deukshi used resources and workers from his own construction company to repair the businesses and houses that had been damaged in the attack. Pilwoo and Mijeong brought in food trucks to prepare and serve meals to the residents that didn't have any access to their kitchens. On top of all that, they had to prepare for the preliminary hearing with the Elders that was would be held first thing tomorrow morning.

Jimin had hardly seen Yoongi all week. Yoongi left right after breakfast to work on the village and came home late to eat dinner with the family. As soon as they finished eating, he would join the others in the conference room to organize the court paperwork and go thru the videos to find what they needed to use as evidence. Not only did they need to justify the deaths in the attack, but they still had to establish proof of the reason for the attack in the first place to clear the Black Lotus pack reputation.

One of the reasons the Black Lotus pack was so successful was because everyone knew they were fair and honest, not only with their pack members but with other packs as well. Black Lotus had done nothing to provoke an attack on their community.

They had followed the wolf procedure for the arrest of Minhyuk and filed a grievance with the Leader of Minhyuk's pack. Now instead of a grievance trial for the abduction and forced marking attempt, it would be a preliminary hearing to see who was at fault for the attack. The council members and interns were working hard, making sure everything was perfected for the morning.

After everyone left, Yoongi stood and looked out the window of the conference room.

Jimin started looking for him when he saw everyone else in the hallway going to their bedroom suites. He wanted to spend some time with Yoongi being as he had not seen him all day today. He was hoping they could talk a little before they had to go to sleep. He was worried they wouldn't be able to talk again until after the trial was over.

He came up behind Yoongi and wrapped his arms around Yoongi's waist. Jimin asked softly, "Hey. How are you doing?"

Yoongi remained perfectly still, easily holding up Jimin's weight since Jimin was leaning into him. He only moved his hands out if his pockets and over to hold Jimin's. Yoongi tilted his head back and closed his eyes as he answered, "I'm okay. Just tired. I can't wait until all this is over."

"You have been super busy lately. I hardly get to see you." Jimin said. Jimin rested his forehead against Yoongi's back muscles, feeling Yoongi tense as his breath hit between Yoongi's shoulder blades.

Yoongi twisted his head in a circle around his neck before he turned around and gathered the little omega into his arms. Kissing the top of Jimin's head, he said "It will be over tomorrow, one way or another. Then I can spend more time with you."
