It was the last week of summer break, Jimin would be starting school next week, and Hoseok and Jungkook would be starting their internships with the pack's head council as well.  Jimin had just got back from his two-week stay with Taehyung. Of course, everybody was told that he was visiting Namjoon and Jin, but Yoongi was suspicious. He knew that Namjoon was like an older brother to Jimin, but it didn't make too much sense to him that Jimin would want to visit for 2 whole weeks. 

Yoongi had the GPS map pulled up and was checking the locations from the tracker when a disgruntled Jungkook walked into his office and flopped on the chair. Yoongi looked up from his laptop and asked, "What's up, magnae?

"I just got out of a meeting with appa. Since I am starting my internship he wants me to start taking some of his responsibilities and do some reconnaissance all by myself at the Red Peonies Pack. He won't even let me take Hobi." Jungkook said looking at the ceiling in despair.  He was not sure he was ready to be diplomatic and build partnerships by himself.

Yoongi shook his head in sympathy "Yea, they did that to me too the first week I started my internship. Had me organize, plan and execute a vital training exercise by myself while KeonHo went on vacation. I think it is a test."

"I get that it is a test but that doesn't make sense. what if I say or do something that starts a pack war or offends their Alpha? Isn't the whole purpose of internship to learn by example? " Jungkook slapped his hand over his forehead and then dragged it down to cover his eyes.

Yoongi's chest bounced as he silently chuckled at his brother's logic. He used to think the same way. "From what they told me, it is in our blood since we have been around it our whole lives as sons of our fathers. We should just apparently know what to do. KeonHo told me that in the old days, kids our age and sometimes younger were just thrown into the position without any real training. Usually, because the leader, beta or head guardian disappeared or was killed so it was up to their sons to fill the position and take over. Whether they were ready or not."

"So how did you do? Where you ready?" Jungkook sat up so he could look at his brother.

Yoongi nodded his head, leaning on his elbows and tapping his pointer fingers together unconsciously. "Ironically, yes. After I got done freaking out and stopped pacing, I sat down and was able to come up with daily combat exercises we needed to work on and a schedule. Took me the whole week KeonHo was gone. I thought he would review it and make changes to fix it but he didn't even open it until the first day of training. We ran it exactly how I planned it. He never even told me if I did it right or not." 

"Oh great. That's no pressure or anything." Jungkook groaned.

This time Yoongi flat out laughed out loud. Jungkook gave him a dirty look to show him he was not amused at being laughed at.

 Yoongi just rolled his eyes and asked, "What is he making you do?"

"Apparently Leader Hwang-ski was bragging about some kind of sanctuary they have for abused omegas and how many omegas they saved so now appa wants to build one here. So I have to go as an envoy to find out more about it."
