It has been two weeks since the trial, which ended in the death of the Red Devils Leaders and an alliance with the same pack. The Black Lotus pack was exonerated from any blame for the attack on their village, and the unfortunate deaths were vindicated. Leader Jeon offered to help the Red Devils Beta with the restructure of their pack and search for their new Leader. They agreed to meet after the Korean New Year on the following Wednesday.

This year the Korean New Year fell on Monday, the 8th. Luna Wongyeong wanted to hold the celebration in the middle of the village under a huge tent in an attempt to replace the bad memories from the attack with happy memories from the celebration. With the help of everyone in the pack house, they had been preparing all week for the activities.

There will be games, traditional food, and gift giving. Jimin's parents have been working on the fruit baskets to be given out as gifts to the villagers and, of course, doing all the catering for the traditional tteokguk (rice cake) soup and food for the feast. Everyone will eat the soup together, symbolically becoming a year older after the soup is finished.

Korean New Year's lasts for three days. It started on the day before, then the day itself, and ended on the day after. Each day would have some kind of activity scheduled. On the day before, there will be Yeonnalligi (wishing for luck by flying kites) and a Yut Nori tournament held in the square, followed by fireworks at midnight. On New Year's Day, most families will be in their own homes where they will perform the charye to show respect and honor their family's ancestors, and then they will perform sebae where the children bow to the elders to wish them many blessings for the new year and the elders of the family will give them gifts of new year money in white envelopes.

A big feast will be held in the square for the whole village in the evening. Leader and Luna Jeon will serve the ceremonial eumbok (gaining virtue by drinking the liquor served to ancestors) and later will give out fruit baskets per family and colorful lucky pouches filled with a few coins and a toy for the children, followed by traditional dancing. The day after new year's, there would be a neol ddwigi performance for the women and folk games like jehi-chagi (kicking a shuttlecock), tuho (throwing arrows into a jar), gongginori (played with little stones) and Go-stop (Korean flower card game). It has taken a long time to get the celebration organized but Luna had many people helping her. Tomorrow would start the events.

First Say of Seollal (Korean New Year)

Jimin rolled around on the bed, stretching his hand out to find the other side empty. Ever since the day of the trial, Jimin refused to sleep by himself and has been sleeping in Yoongi's bed ever since. Even thou Yoongi refuses to mate with Jimin until after he graduates, they have shared the same bed every night. Jimin has gotten used to being the little spoon, with Yoongi cuddling him from behind. It has gotten to the point that Jimin cannot fall asleep unless Yoongi was pressed up against him.
