August 10, Monday,

Late Evening

It was just the worst day of his life. Jimin lay on his back on his bed, staring blankly at the ceiling. He had no more tears to cry, having cried the past 4 hours. Everything had been perfect, the movies, the garden, and even getting caught in the rain weren't so bad. Jimin had been sitting in his usual spot in Yoongi's office while Yoongi was working on something on his computer that he needed to send to Jungkook, who was away doing something for the leader. Jimin was not sure what it was they were working on, but it was pack business, and they never really told him anything when it came to official business. But now he knows it was about Taehyung and the secret he has been holding for his best friend all this time. The secret that just ruined Jimin's life.

An hour earlier

Jimin thought that Yoongi was working hard and might want a cup of coffee to keep him going. Yoongi smiled at Jimin and turned to watch him walk out. Yoongi had his cell up to his ear, and Jimin heard him say, "Hey, little bro." before he closed the door to give Yoongi some privacy. Jimin bounced down the stairs in a good mood. He was thinking of asking Yoongi when he was going to start teaching him self-defense techniques like Yoongi promised as he walked into the kitchen.

His mind came up with several different scenarios on how to make his request without sounding like a brat. Jimin was getting the pour-over brewer ready. They have a regular coffee pot as well that they use usually in the mornings for the whole pack, but for things like this, when you just want a single cup, Jimin was using the Pour Over Coffee maker. It took a little bit more time, but the coffee it produced was a higher quality, more flavorful, and a more satisfying cup of coffee.

Hoseok walked into the kitchen as Jimin was looking through the cabinets for the coffee grinder. For those of you that don't know, to make pour-over coffee correctly, you need to start with freshly ground coffee. Once you have the coffee ground in the filter, you bloom the coffee, which means you wet the coffee in a circular motion with water from the kettle. After you let that seep for a minute, you then add more of the water until you have the desired amount (**a/n: this is an art. You should look it up)

Jimin had already put the kettle of water on the stove to heat up, but he was having trouble finding the coffee grinder. He stepped to the side so Hoseok could grab a glass from the cabinet. "Hobi do you know where the coffee grinder is? I can't find it."

"Check over by the coffee pot. I think it is in the drawer with the filters." Hoseok said as he filled his glass with juice from the refrigerator. "I didn't know you like to drink coffee so late."

Jimin shook his head and looked in a different cabinet "It's not there. I looked. I am making coffee for Yoongi since he is busy working."

"Ahh, you guys are getting pretty close, huh?" Hoseok said, looking around the kitchen for the coffee grinder.
