Chapter 24: Jealous

Ivona's POV:

It was 5:30pm.

I slipped on a long green dress that hugged my body.

I put my feet into pointy black heels.

I slid into a long leather jacket and swung my purse around my shoulder.

I felt confident for once. This was a rare occasion. I looked in the mirror and was happy with what I saw.

Billie fixed her outfit behind me.

"You look so fucking good" she complimented me.

I blushed.

"Look at you babes you look phenomenal" I respond.

"Yo I'm homeschooled you can't pull those big words on me like that" she replies.

I ugly laughed and didn't even bother to hide it.

There was a moment of silence.

"Billie" I said lightly.

"Yes cutie?" She looked at me concerned.

"I know this sounds weird but do you think we could try to make Darryl and Cece jealous tonight. Like I don't know. You get what I mean?" I asked shyly.

"Yes of course. If I go too far just say so but I'm gonna be really touchy" she answers.

"Whatever it takes because I couldn't care less about what my parents think and your parents ain't here, even though I'm quite sure they'd support" I think about the consequences.

"This will be fun" she says huskily as we walk out the door.

Her hand slides around my waist. I blush so bad.

"They could be anywhere" she smiles as I look up at her.

I smile back.

I honestly can't believe it.

We arrive at dinner and Darryl and Cece were sat down and Finneas and Claudia weren't here yet.

"Cassie and Dave aren't coming" Cece says with a smile.

"It's Cassandra and David to you. They are my parents" I snap back.

Her smile fades.

"Lay your head on my shoulder" Billie whispers in my ear.

Her minty breath gives me serotonin.

I lay my head on her shoulder as she commanded.

Darryl's jaw clenched.

I managed to keep my laughter in.

"So are you two dating" Darryl asked bluntly.

I opened my mouth to say no but I was interrupted.

"Yes" Billie answered confidently.

I played along with it.

"We are really happy too" I chimed in.

"So are we" Cece said as Darryl snaked him arm around her.

I scoffed.

Finneas and Claudia walked in.

Finally I couldn't take this anymore.

"Ayyyeee Finneas in the house!" Finneas said in a lower voice, referencing Darryl.

Everyone laughed except for Cece and Darryl.

Stuck up fucking bitches. I hope they are trip over a knife.

Billie placed her hand on my thigh. Her grip got firmer the longer she held it. After a minute she stopped the firmness and just let her hand relax as her thumb rubbed my thigh.

Omg. Omg. Omg. I think I'm going to faint.

Claudia looked at me with a grin when she saw what was happening.

Darryl and Cece were in their own world and Billie and Fin were chatting.

I lifted up my phone to text Claudia.

'We are faking it to make them jealous so don't get your hopes up xx' I hit send.

'Ughhh I got excited. You two are soulmates' she replies.

'Nah man, I wish' I responded.

'OMG YOU ADMITTED IT. YOU LIKE HER' she replied.

'Fine but you cant tell anyone okkk?' I text back with a smile.

'OKK I promise I won't' she answered.

I placed my phone down and looked at her face.

Claudia was doing a little happy dance.

I giggled and Finneas looked at us weirdly which made us laugh harder.

I then came back to reality and remembered I was still laying on Billie's shoulder and she was still holding her grip on my thigh.

I uncontrollably blush just thinking about it.

"You okay baby?" She asks.

"Yes just surprised in a good way" I responded.

"Remember if I do too much just say stop" she replies.

"Don't stop" I answer.
