Margo had a dazed look, her eyes following the passing scenery as we drove by.

"Where to?" I asked.

She sat up and thought for a second. "We're going to the top of the SunTrust building."

"Any SunTrust or..."

"The SunTrust, the one from six months ago."

I nodded my head, my eyes still on the road. "Of course, I should've known." But I could already feel Margo drifting off to sleep.

Since we were coming from Duke, which was an eight hour drive, we took turns until we had arrived. We slept on the shifts where we weren't driving.

When we finally arrived at the SunTrust building, she quickly got out of the car and ran up to the front. She opened the door and greeted Gus.

"Hey Gus." Margo said. I had told Gus that we had found Margo but he hadn't seen her since she ran away.

"Margo, good to see you." He came around from behind the desk and the two hugged and exchanged the rest of the formalities.

"Ok, we'll be up at the top if you need us." Margo smiled at Gus and grabbed my hand and pulled me to the stairwell. We climbed for what seemed like forever. When we reached the top, we went to the window and stared out at the city. It was exactly like it was six months ago, the first time we did this. Margo was first to break the silence.

"Q, how sad were you when I left."

I wish she would've have asked questions. I so desperately wanted her to talk about Paper Towns, but I knew I had to answer.

I breathed out deeply and looked her. "I wasn't sad when you left, more worried. The part that was sad was when we parted ways so many months ago in that shed. I wished you would've stayed, come home. People really missed you and all, but for me it was different. Because me, I knew you were alive. It was weird. No one ever wanted to talk about it. Ben doesn't even let me finish saying your name before he tells me to get over it, Radar acts like it never even happened, and Lacey, well she's still a mess. You can't ask her about you without tears making a special guest appearance. So to answer your question, yeah, I was pretty upset. But I didn't want it... you to dictate my life, because really and truly, I've been in love with for like... as long as I can remember and you pretty much had dictated anything and everything I did up until that moment. But I was like "screw it, I can't be in love with her if I won't ever see her again,' yet... here you are."

"And it any different?" She turned and looked at me, "Now that I'm here, do you love me?"

"I- I don't know."

She turned back to the window and I stared at her for a few seconds longer before turning out to look at the once deemed "Paper Town."

The silence lasted a long time, but I didn't want to interrupt Margo's thoughts.

She stayed motionless for a second, then she grabbed my hand.

"Q," she turned her body fully towards me, "I realized that I took the opportunity away from you." She said quietly.

I furrowed my eyebrows, "The opportunity of what?"

"Dancing with you at prom."

And even though I hated prom, I didn't care because I was about to dance with the girl of my dreams. She faced me and then just stood there, looking at me.

"May I have this dance M'lady?" I asked and did a silly little bow.

"Why certainly." she curtsied, then put her arms around my neck and I slipped my hands around her waist.

And for a few moments, we just stood there like that. Nothing in the whole world could ruin this moment.
