"Yes! Lemme see." Margo snatched the key out of my hands and examined it, "let's go test it out." She said with a grin on her face.
"But isn't she in her room?"
"Nah, she just left. I hacked into the hotel security cameras."
"How'd you do that!"
"I know people, when your a master revenge plotter, you know people." I shrugged and I acted like I understood even though that none of the words that had just come out of her words made sense. She grabbed he crutches and crutched out of the room.
"What floor?"
"Fourth." She went to the elevator and clicked the bottom till the door opened. She crutched in and I followed behind her. She pressed the "four" button and waited till the door closed. I waited next to her, along with an old man waiting to get to floor seven. The doors opened at the fourth floor, two people were waiting to get in. They let Margo and I put first because of Margo's foot. She crutched passed them and mumbled a slight "thank you." She crutched down the hall, and took a right turn and went to Becca's room. She pushed the key in. The buttons turned red. The door rejected the key. She tried again and again but it still didn't work.
"Let me see." I said she rolled her eyes and handed me the key, "let the master take a try at this." I attempted to crack my knuckles, but only a mere pop came out. Margo stifled a laugh. "Haha very funny." I said sarcastically. She stiffened up as I unlocked the door. Red. Red. Red. Red.
"Dang it." I whispered.
"Yeah, such a master." Margo joked.
"Point is this key doesn't work."
"They clearly have you a fake." I sighed and looked at Margo who pulled out a key.
"How did you get that?" I said reaching for the key, she pulled it away from me. I pretended to be Becca using her fake ID from last year."
"Well, what are you waiting for, open the door."
"Right." Margo said. She pushed the key in and pulled it out. And the color turned.
