I shot up. I looked at the clock. It was three-thirty am. Margo was still asleep. I don't know why I kept waking up in the middle of the night. I looked over at Margo, her eyes fluttered as she slept. I could tell she was having a good dream. On the other hand, I kept waking up cause of the same nightmare. I laid back on my pillow and closed my eyes, hoping to get some sleep.

I woke up and looked around, my awake was not as abrupt as the last one, but it was still disturbing. I rubbed my eyes and looked at the clock for the second time. Six-fifty. I knew there was no going back to sleep now. I looked over at Margo who was just starting to wake up.
"Quentin?"
"Margo."
"Why are you up so early?"
"I've haven't been sleeping so well lately."
"Well, why."
"I keep having this nightmare."
"Well,"
Well what?"
"Tell me your nightmare."
"I don't really--"
"Telling someone will make it better."
"Ok." She got up and sat down next to me on my bed, "ok, so in my dream my friends, family, and you are all on this platform, and I'm on the other platform. Both platforms are over a cliff, and the cliff is so deep that it just suspends into blackness."
"Go on," Margo says.
I breathe and continue, "there's this big person in a black cloak, and I can't see their face. I have to make a choice, to kill myself, or to kill all of you. For some reason, I always pick to kill you guys. The man moves his fingers and you platform drops, and you all fall into the pit. But, instead of letting me live, he also drops my platform, and I also fall into the pit. The End."
"Wow um...."
"What do you think?"
"I think that we should call your mom tonight."
"My mom?"
"She's a therapist, right?"
"Good idea."
"Since we're up, let's get ready. I've got a big day planned."
"Ok." Margo went over to her backpack and picked out an outfit. She walked into the bathroom and locked the door. I knew she was changing in there so I thought that it was my chance as well. I knew I could make it because I change a lot faster than Margo. I put on my shirt, and the my jeans and sat on my bed, toothbrush in hand, waiting for the bathroom. Margo came out ten minutes later, teeth and hair brushed. She smiled and looked at me, "You're turn." I got up and went into the bathroom, locking the door behind me. I peed and washed my hands, I the started brushing my teeth, and when I finished, I brushed through my hair. I came out and Margo was waiting for me.
"Ready to go?" She asked.
"Ready." I said grabbing my jacket, following her out the door.
