I'd figure that Margo would be at the hotel room. So I went outside, walked to the minivan and sat in it. It was the only other place I could go. I sat down in the drivers seat. All the memories from the road trip flooded back.
"I think you should be the official stuff namer."
"That's the best passenger seat driving I've ever seen!"
"The dreidel, the harder you spin it the faster it performs."
"I spy with my metaphysical eye a heroes heart..."
"Bro, seventy percent of my body weight is pee."
"This tastes like hope feels."
"You did not get your heritage black friend a confederate flag t-shirt."
I opened my eyes only to realize that I was back in the real world. I sat back in the seat. I looked over at the passenger seat. Memories from the revenge plot night flooded back as well.
"The Margo Roth Spiegelman revenge plot begins!"
"It may have an illustrious history, but it sure ain't big."
"It's a Paper Town, Paper Houses and Paper People."
"Everything's uglier up close."
"How was making out with my leg?"
"My friends are actually, like, nice."
Then it dawned on me. I needed Margo and she needed me. I opened the door, making sure it was locked, and ran into the hotel. I didn't wait for the elevator. I ran up the stairs to our room and out the key in. The door opened and Margo was sitting on the bed, reading a magazine.
"Margo, I need you."
"What?"
"I need you and you need me."
"I don't need and you don't need me. We just want to need each other."
"No, Margo without you my life would be so different. Because I knew you, I've been changed for good."
"That's cheesy."
"Whatever, what do you say we get this Becca's thing underway?"
"I totally agree."

Margo led me into Becca's room. She put her finger to indicate to be quiet. We waited till it was dark, we knew Becca was at her dad's banquet, she wouldn't be home till at least midnight. Margo opened the door and started playing loud music, she then went out into the hall and yelled "PARTY!" Several room door opened. People young and old flooded into Becca's room. As soon as they got in, they started calling their friends to come too. Margo ordered everything on the room service menu and walked out, leaving the door open with the people in there.
"How is this a prank?"
"No hotel parties, she'll get kicked out and no other hotel will want to take her in because they heard of this. New travels fast in New York."
"Genius." I said.
"I know, but wait, there's more."
