Like an alarm, I woke up to an aggressive tapping on my shoulder.

"Margo. stop." I whined, trying to fall back asleep.

"Excuse me, Boy, you need to get up." An unfamiliar voice said aggressively.

I shot up, twelve or so nicely dressed business men and women were staring at the two of us.

"Excuse me but you can't be here." the man in the front said. I looked at Margo who was sitting in the chair next to me. She was just waking up as well, and she was just as shocked as I was. "Get out." The man requested. Margo and I were so disoriented that we just stared blankly at each other. "I'm calling security." The impatient man said and started to dial the number.

At first I didn't know where we were, but then I realized. We were still at the top of the SunTrust building. I got up and looked out the window. Daylight was shining through.

"Sorry sir we will just be . . ." I started grabbing Margo's arm and she pulled her arm out of my grasp.

She folded her arms and stood her ground, "Excuse me," Margo started, "but we are the building manager's son and daughter and he said that we could stay up here tonight." Margo sounding so convincing. I knew she was lying but I didn't want to announce it in front of people who could get us busted.

The man in the front didn't look convinced, but they had a meeting to get started with and the lady behind him tapped her watch. "Oh, I'm so sorry Mr. and Miss LaPointe, but we have a meeting if you could just please be on your way." I guess he decided to go along.

Margo nodded, "Of course, we were just leaving."

I didn't know who the "LaPointe's" were, but I assumed that it was the last name of owner of the building. After we had exited the room untouched, we both started cracking up.

"Margo that was amazing, you saved us from going to prison!"

She smiled and shrugged, "Just doing my job." She responded. We both looked at each other with the urge to race down the stairs. Without even saying anything we both stopped and she called:

"1...2...3!"

And we were off. I didn't stop, even to look back. When I reached the bottom, Margo wasn't there. Then I saw her, she was still on the last step. I had beaten her.

"I can't believe you beat me," she said, "haven't you ever heard the rule about letting girls win?" She smirked.

"No, that's not a rule once you pass the age or eight." I teased.

We both laughed and she walked ahead of me. I smiled to myself and let her get ahead of me.

When we got back into the car, we both heard this loud, grumbling noise.

"What was that?" I asked.

"That, Q," she put her hand on her stomach and patted it three times, "was my stomach. I desperately need food.

I shrugged, "Okay. Where you want to eat?"

"Hmm, Here." she pointed to a little diner on the end of the block. I parked and we both got out. The place was empty.

She stepped through the door and I stopped behind her, "Woah, it's like a ghost town in here." I said.

"Yeah, I know." She replied, "But don't worry, their food is good." She continued.

"Okay. I trust your judgement." I shrugged.

We seated ourselves at a booth and an old woman, maybe 65, came and took our order.

"Hi Myrtle, I'll have the chicken caesar with dressing on the side." Margo said instantly. I looked at her dumbfounded and she kept smiling at Myrtle.

"Coming right up Margo." the woman's voice was raspy. She clearly was a smoker earlier in her life, and maybe still was. "And what will you have?" She asked, looking at me.

"Ummmm..." I didn't really have a chance to look at the menu because I was too focused on Margo and this woman. "I think I'll have a .... Grilled cheese." I said unsurely.

"Got it," she tapped her pad of paper with her pen and left the table.

We both looked when the door at the diner opened. It was Jase. Margo immediately covered her face with a menu. I did the same.

"What is he doing here." Margo sounded aggravated.

"I don't know, I didn't invite him!"

"He can't no I'm back in town." Margo took a napkin and a pen an wrote a note to Myrtle. She then slipped fifteen dollars into the napkin and grabbed my wrist.

"Let's go." we both snuck out of the restaurant without getting noticed by Jase. We both got back into the minivan and slammed the doors shut.

"That was a close one." I said awkwardly.

"Almost too close."

"It's not like we could've planned it, though."

"I know, lets just be more careful next time."

"I agree."
