I have this feeling,
It lingers at the back of my mind,
It delicately grazes over like an old blanket
That has been left behind
A blanket that has been set out to dry
The wind slowly grows more powerful
Entangled yet graceful
The purpose of destiny is unavoidable
Day turns to night
And the lingering feeling brushes again
Against the edges of my mind
I'm struck by a bolt of realization so insane
The purpose of life
The destinies set by God
Those who have hurt
Are left in an eternal fog
What I am
What I could be
All the possibilities
Our life is an eternity
I am not the only one
We are all connected
By the unseeable
Forever protected
Flowers bloom
And snow falls
An endless cycle
Some think of it as pitiful
But we are simply beings
Who cannot understand the far beyond
A purpose for each one of us
A gift from God
