If it wasn't for my friends
I would be trapped in dust clouds
With sparkling white on the tip of my noseIf it wasn't for my friends
My body would be pressed up against the unknown
Total dysfunction of my mindIf it wasn't for my friends
Dirty eyes would linger
Then attack at the right timeBecause of my friends
I'm surrounded by encouragement
With my nose glued into the pages of booksBecause of my friends
My body bumps into the students
That wander the university hallsBecause of my friends
Eyes notice, watch, and then follow
The path that I have pavedBecause of my friends
