When you first get one
You may think how could it be so happy
And bring so much joy
Within one's own familyWhen it waits by the door
No matter the day
Sun, wind, or rain
It's excited to see you everydayWhen you give it a warm bath
And the smile when it wants to play
The way it zooms across the house
Made all of the worries go awayWhen it cuddles next to you
Especially on a sick day
The incomparable love
And a heart that's purer than words can sayOnly wanting your true happiness
It will never leave your side
Until it breaths it's last breath
A dog- my dog passed away today. I hope to meet him again, maybe in another lifetime if not this one.
