Is everything fine?
Not really
But I'm just vibing
And enjoying my long walk
Minding my own business
Chilling with musical beats
That makes the world sway
Like an hallucinogenic
What if I took drugs
Let the world melt away
Like an ice cream cone on a sunny day
The rising heat from my head to my toes and in my belly
A fire breaks out behind me
I continue strolling
A flashy smile and my bopping head
Feeling the heat of the sun on my body
People screaming in agony
Not that I could hear
The music filled headphones over my ears
Had me craving some gummy bears
I turn to the beach and watch the ocean waves
A car launches through the concrete wall
Crashing into the sand below
The sweat had me contemplating an evening shower
The sun beginning to set
I scroll through my list of songs
The reflection of blue and red lights on my screen
Cops fired at the burglars in the bank right next to me
Finally I found the perfect sunset song
I lean against the concrete wall
And stare at the swaying colours
Grinning when I realize nothing could bother me at all
A poem about how ignoring the things around you and doing your own thing is the best way to be happy. So enjoy what your senses have to offer, like feeling the fucking sun and shit.
Formula for being happy:
