Like a magic trick
I wish to disappear
To be forgotten
Without a fear
The weight of the crowd
Too heavy to bear
I cannot satisfy them
Yet I still care
I care about their thoughts
Their opinions and their dreams
That is exactly the reason
My own thoughts are like streams
I think about them
Their expectations for me
Too much to handle
I can't transform into what they want me to be
Yet I try when I reappear
To be a black bunny
Or a white dove
To bring smiles by being funny
That by making them laugh
They will forgive my thoughts
Lift the expectations
That the rope around my neck will loosen its knot
But no matter how hard I try
I cannot do it
I am slowly being crushed
By these expectations, bit by bit
If only the magic trick was permanent
So that I no longer have to care
For the people around me
Love is too much to bear
