Feeling unaware
But noticing my unmovable arms and legs
Rough fabric wrapped around my body
A rope uncomfortably bound all aroundThe incomprehensible voices started as whispers
Quickly growing louder
As my body rocked forward suddenly
Banging against splintered woodFeeling both ends of the fabric being tugged at
My back no longer touched the hard wood
I was roughly rocked back and forth
Until the tension in the fabric was releasedA thunder striking splash had my ears ringing
Screaming but nothing came out
Fighting against the fabric, rope, and sea
Hoping to be set freeFighting until the last breath
A hopeless fight against the growing darkness
The light was disappearing
And I succumb to the fate of drowning emotions
