"So... Did you tell your parents about us yet?" Brandon asked her.

School was done for today, Ellie and Brandon were walking to their buses. He was curious to know if she told her parents about their relationship. He really wanted to spend Christmas with her and nothing was going to stop him from doing so.

"I forgot to tell my parents" she sincerely told him.

"How long will you keep on hiding our relationship from your parents? My parents were completely understanding of our relationship." He asked, feeling a bit disappointed and frustrated that she didn't let her parents know.

"Look, your parents are way different than mine. My parents can be strict and it takes some time for them to adjust to anything new." She explained, hoping that her boyfriend would understand.

"I get it, but I really want to spend the entire Christmas break with you." He did the unthinkable by begging.

"Chill! You're acting like we're never going to see each other again. Plus Christmas break is not that long and we will see each once it's over." She tried to reason with him. He sighed, which concerned Ellie.

"I didn't tell you this, but I'm going to be moving to a new state once fifth grade is over." He revealed, feeling bad for telling her that.

"Excuse me?! When were you planning to tell me this?" She asked, could not believe what she heard. The urge to smack him upside his skull was strong, but she controlled herself. Plus, she does not anyone eavesdropping.

"I don't know" that's all he said.

"You don't know? So, what's the point of this relationship when you're just going to move and leave me here by myself? Where are you even going?" She asked numerous questions, trying to wrap around what's going on and why he would do such a thing.

"I'm moving to Spain" he revealed more. She was on a verge of tears hearing all the information he was giving to her.

"That's like millions of miles away from here. Why are you moving over there instead of one of the states here?" She curiously asked.

"My parents both got hired by good paying companies in Spain. Also, Spain has the best basketball league internationally." He said.

"Well... What I'm trying to figure out is why are you constantly begging me to tell my parents about our relationship when you're going to be leaving me in a few months? What's even the point of continuing on with this relationship?" She asked, feeling annoyed and betrayed by him.

"Who said anything about this relationship ending?" He questioned.

"Huh, what do you mean?" She asked, confused on what he was asking about.

"We don't have to end the relationship just because I'm moving to another country." He told her.

"How is that even possible when we're not going to see each other face to face? We can't go on dates, hold hands, or do normal couple stuff." She continued to question him.

"We can always have a long distance relationship." He suggested.

"No! Absolutely not!" She immediately rejected it without any hesitation.

"Why not?" He asked.

"Those types of relationships never works out. I don't want to be only interacting with you through phone or laptops. I want to see your cute face every day." She told him.

"Can't you at least give it a try?!" He yelled at her. She was taken aback because that was the first time he yelled and been aggressive to her.

"Goodbye, Brandon!" That's all she said to him. She went on her bus, bawling her eyes out. So much emotions going through her head that it hurts for her to think about. All she wants to do was go home and forget about her boyfriend for good.
