Miguel left the kitchen real quick, everyone was wondering where he was going. He was looking for something that could help represent his thoughts about him wanting a girlfriend. Talking was useless since he's a dog and humans have no clue on what animals are trying to communicate.
One minute later, he found a magazine of a man and a woman kissing. Even though they are not dogs, them kissing can help give out a signal that he wants a relationship with a female dog. He came back to the kitchen with the magazine and delivered it to Mary. He hopes that they get the message.
"What are you trying to communicate to us?" Mary asked Miguel, not really knowing what he wants.
"Umm, are you trying to tell us that you are into magazines?" Lamonte asked, Miguel barked out of frustration.
"Can we take a look at the magazine? Probably, we can solve this." Tom asked. Mary handed the magazine to them. The children were his only hope,
"I think Miguel is letting us know that he wants love and affection." Ashley speculated, Miguel was jumping around with excitement knowing that she almost figured out what he truly wanted.
"What do you mean by that?" Mary asked.
"I think Miguel wants a female dog girlfriend." Ellie said, Miguel howled like a wolf and continued jumping around. He was happy that Ellie and Ashley cracked the code and figured out what he truly wanted.
"Is it true? You want a girlfriend?" Mary asked.
"Woof! Woof! Woof!" He barked multiple times, letting them know that he was serious about getting a girlfriend.
"Aww, this is so cute." Ellie said, adoring Miguel's passion about love.
"Wow, it looks like everyone is either in love or trying to find love. Love is definitely in the air!" Mary said.
"How are we going to find a perfect companion for Miguel? Plus, are we able to take care of two dogs?" Lamonte asked, bringing the mood down.
"The Devil is a liar! Why are you questioning Miguel? Don't you want to see him in love?" Mary asked, she was getting annoyed by her husband's questioning. It was fine for him to question the kids, but questioning a dog was crossing a line.
"Of course, I want to see him in love. I'm not a heartless monster. All I'm just asking is how and where are we going to find Miguel's perfect girlfriend? Also, are we strong enough to take care of two dogs?" He tried his hardest to clarify himself.
"For the first question, it's not like we are rushing to find him a girlfriend, love can't be rushed. Plus, I feel like he could find love at the dog park or any areas that have a lot of dogs. For the second question, we are absolutely strong enough to handle two dogs." She told him, defending the honor of Miguel.
"Alright. I just don't want Miguel's heart to broken. He already suffered a lot when his parents died, I don't want him getting stuck with the wrong female dog partner." Lamonte continued to share his worries.
"No need to worry. We will make sure that Miguel is truly happy with his female partner. He only deserves the best and we wouldn't invite a bad dog into our household." She said.
"So, what do we do now?" He asked.
"We have tell everyone the big surprise that we came up with." She reminded him, everyone got excited to hear what the surprise was about. The kids had been waiting for a while to hear this.
"You're right, I almost forgot." He said, she rolled her eyes and chuckled. "The surprise is that-"
