Take me back, Ellie

Ellie was chilling in her room the whole day. They had Thanksgiving off, so they don't come back to school until Monday. She was mostly lying on her bed, listening to music and watching TV Shows.

Her favorite artist was Rihanna, she was happy that she released new music after years of not releasing anything. But she was waiting patiently for Rihanna to drop a new album, it has been six years since her last album. She was hoping that she releases a new album as soon as possible.

As for the TV show, she was watching a Netflix series called "All of us are dead". It is a South Korean show about high school students trying to survive a zombie outbreak. The show was a great watch for her as it was thrilling, had great drama, action, horror, character development, comedy, and entertaining. The show came out earlier on in 2022, but she was late on watching the show.

When it comes to TV shows, it takes some time for her to watch. She had to be dedicated to watch multiple episodes of one show. If the show does not grab her attention immediately by the first or second episode, she stops watching it entirely. For example, she tried to get into "Ozark", but she was not enjoying what she was witnessing. Also, the show did not cater to her demographic or interest.

Her favorite type of TV shows are school dramas. She relates a lot to shows dealing with students since she is a student as well. Shows like "Stranger Things" and "All of us are dead" gives her everything she needs. So she was enjoying episodes of "All of us are dead", until her FaceTime notification was going off. She was wondering who would be facetiming her right now. She checked her phone and it was her boyfriend, Brandon.

"What does he want?" She asked to herself, felt annoyed that her boyfriend would be distrupt her down time. She did not feel like answering, but she knew he would be calling her nonstop. So she sighed and answered his call.

"Wow, I was not expecting you to pick up on the first call." Brandon said, feeling surprised and happy that she accepted his call. She had no emotion or reaction on her face, she just wanted this FaceTime session to be done as soon as possible so that she can enjoy watching her television.

"What do you want? Make it quick because I got better stuff to do." She asked, not wasting anytime.

"I just wanted to see how you were doing. The last time we spoke, it did not end well." He said.

"I'm doing alright. How about yourself?" She asked. Even though she did want to engage into this conversation, she still wanted to know how he was doing.

"I'm doing well. My family are preparing for Thanksgiving. Are your family ready for Thanksgiving?" He asked, trying to keep the conversation going. She rolled her eyes.

"My dad is buying all the Thanksgiving items right now. My mom, Ashley, and I are going to help with the cooking." She told him.

"That's great to hear." He said with a smile.

"Can you please explain to me why you decided to FaceTime me? Be honest!" She asked.

"I wanted to FaceTime you to say I'm sorry for making you feel sad. It was never my intentions to hurt you. All I want to do was to tell you that I'm going to be living in Spain. But I understand that dropping that bombshell would have hurt your feelings. I know that you want me to stay in Virginia and be with you forever. I do want to be with you for the rest of my life, but there are opportunities that I do not want to pass up on. I hope that you could take me back and forgive me." He explained, felt bad for hurting her feelings.

"Do you really mean that when you said you will love me forever?" She asked, curious to know if he was honest about what he said.

"Yes! Everything I said is how I truly feel. When I go to Spain, I will not have any feelings for any of the girls there. I will keep you updated on everything I'm doing." He replied, she believed him judging by how sincere he sounded.

"When you go to Spain, will you try to make time to come back to America? So that we can see each other again." She asked.

"Yes, I will ask my parents to make time for us to see each other again. Does that mean you forgive me? Will you take me back?" He asked. He was hoping that she took him back. It would be disheartening if they had to end their relationship over him moving to Spain.

"Alright, I forgive you and I will take you back." She accepted him. He got off from his seat and started dancing. She was laughing by the way he was celebrating, but it also made her happy seeing her boyfriend happy. But there was one more thing she needed to tell him.

"Before you go to Spain, we have to hang out with each other every single day. Making each day and moment count. It might take a long time before we see each other again. So do you promise for us to hang out everyday and make everyday the best moments of our lives?" She asked.

"Yes! I will make these days feel special. I will be there for you every step of the way!" He told her. She felt a huge relief knowing that her boyfriend truly loved her and would never leave her side. She wanted to hug and kiss him so badly right now.

"I love you so much!" She told him.

"I love you too!" He said.

"I will talk to you later. Right now, I'm watching a great Netflix show." She said.

"What's the TV show?" He wanted to know.

"All of us are dead" She told him.

"Wow, I love that show!" He said. She was surprised that he knew that show.

"You watched the show?" She asked, confirming if he actually watched it.

"Yeah! I watched the entire the series. It's awesome!" He responded.

"That's great to know. Right now, I'm on episode five. Don't spoil the ending, I want to finish it without knowing anything." She said.

"Alright. But let me tell you what happens at the end of the sho-" He got interrupted by Ellie ending the FaceTime call. She loved him, but she did not have time for him playing around and spoiling everything. She went back to watching "All of us are dead" and enjoying the rest of the day.
