This is the fourth book I've written. Writing books is my passion and becoming a successful author is my lifetime goal. Also, I want to inspire future authors and those who's voices have been silenced or ignored. 🙏🏾
I was silenced all my life and never got the opportunity to succeed. But I told myself is that this is my life and I only have one life to live. So I tell myself every day that I am number one and will succeed no matter how long it takes. I just need to continue writing and putting in that work. 💪🏾
This book is a romantic comedy book with family elements in it. When I mean "family elements", I don't mean Dora The Explorer or Barney The Dinosaur 😂💔
The story focuses on Family and how each person in the family are feeling and living their lives.
This book will be PG-13. There will be some sexual stuff, but nothing too explicit or graphic. There will be mature and dramatic moments.
The main characters will be Sierra Leonean-Americans, since I was born in Sierra Leone, Africa but lived in Virginia, America for the majority of my life. There will be some Sierra Leone Krio language, which is the language my family speaks. I will translate them to English!
This is my first positive story I am writing. I was getting tired of writing dark and depressing stories. It was not good for my mental health and my mindset changed a lot. This won't be the last positive story I will be writing. There will be more positive stories!
