Hey guys, Nan here. I know we haven't updated since FOREVER. But I'm back with a new rant, so let's get to it.

Why Voldemort's Death Pisses Me Off:

Ok so we've read all seven books and we've seen all eight movies. And we've all read the Battle of Hogwarts part umpteen times. So much that we can quote it.

So we all know that when Voldy finally goes Mouldy, the entire thing happens very elaborately as Voldy and Harry circle each other, and Harry explains the Elder Wand stuff and all. He talks about love and remorse, and explains how Voldy can't hurt anyone anymore, and his speech made me cry while reading it.

Yet every time I watch the movie, I don't shed a single tear. I cried loads during the book, so much that I had to dry it out in the sun once, but in the movie?

Not one tear rolled down my dainty little cheek.

How could they not put in Harry's speech at all? How could they show Fred's death by showing the Weasleys bawling their eyes out? They skipped Percy's "Joke" and Fred dying with the "ghost of his last laugh" still on his face! They didn't show any of it!

Ugh.

Not only this, they've skipped so much in the movies. Sure, it happens, but really? They had to skip all the awesome Ron moments? I mean the book Ron is hilarious throughout the series. The movie Ron gets depressing after the sixth movie. It's just really... Sad.

Well rant started out as a rant on Voldy's death so let's keep it that way-

First of all, he doesn't disintegrate! According to the book, he dies and his body is laid down away from the rest of the bodies. The book shows how someone like Voldemort is not worth being laid down with the rest, while in the movie, he just disintegrates! What is this?

Then, in the book, Harry's final speech kills Voldy's dignity completely. Voldemort is proven guilty and stupid in front of all his Death Eaters and the rest of the wizards. In the movie, his dignity remains intact. Why would you do that?

Then of course there is the Neville Longbottom thing. In the book he's a hero. In the movie, the Death Eaters and Voldy still laugh at him like what?

So basically if I went on, I could find a hundred things wrong with the movies. Don't even get me started on the Percy Jackson movies.

Short update, sorry :(
