I was sitting out on the bean. Thankfully in the right color for my Faction. I was just sitting there kicking my feet, watching people walk around, to jobs, or lunch, or home, or wherever they were heading. I smirked when there was this thud, which made the ground shake, people stopped and braced in place screaming. I frowned as I looked around as it kept happening. KACIE! I saw Four, Uriah, and Zeke. They were running to me but would stop or stumble every thud. I started climbing down, when there was this horrible noise. I looked up at the city as buildings, which were structurally sound, started crumbling. I could see in the pavement closer to the city, it was cracking, and people were falling into them, some people held onto the ones falling trying to stop it only for them to be pulled down with them. I looked back at Four and the others who were by the bean, I started down again when there were several thuds, and the ground under me cracked, I started falling

I sat up when I hit the ground. I was tangled in my blankets, but there was a pounding, it was the door, and it wasn't Eric knocking this time, it wasn't as loud and didn't rattle everything. I climbed out of the blankets as Four answered the door. They need you out and down, there was an accident in the transfer dorms. I frowned and Four nodded. Ok, be right down. When he left, I followed him out. I wasn't supposed to, I knew that much, but I did, in the oversized black shirt, my shorts that were now above my knee as I had grown, and no shoes. I was too curious for my own good half the time. We got to the pit and I shoved my glasses up, when they carried this guy out. Edward. He was the transfer who came out on top. But that wasn't the point, there was knife in his eye, his hand was a bloody knife and was screaming.

My hand slapped over my mouth and I backed up quickly, right into Eric. Whoa, what're- I looked up at him, jaw dropped the echoes of that guy screaming still echoed down the hall. You aren't supposed to be down here. I-I uh- Uriah. Uriah, who was next to Zeke and Four turned. Four gave me a look. He knew why I came down here. Take Kacie home. Four handed him the keys and he walked over. Come on Kace. He said getting ahold of my arm. We went up the apartment, and he unlocked the door.

I sat there for a long time, on the couch, still just in my pajamas. Uriah had left to get dressed, but came back and sat down in front of me. There were other people with him. Hey, are you ok? The images flashed in my head. I didn't understand why that bugged me so much, and made me feel so numb, when I had looked at a dead body, and felt absolutely nothing, but I had a feeling as to why it bugged me so bad. He stood and turned to the others, sorta muttering, and he nodded before turning. Hey, we're about to go on a little celebration trip, to just get outta here, you wanna go? I frowned some and he smirked. Go get dressed. I stood up and walked to my room, and got changed and came out, to Uriah messing with my earbuds.

I grabbed the Ipod and he smirked. Come on. I pulled my hood up and put my earbud in and started out with him. I couldn't get the image out of my head, or the screams. I kept going with the others even though Uriah stopped. I didn't know why he stopped in the hall, but I couldn't stop walking. I didn't even feel like I had control over my own body right then. Someone else was driving me to keep going with the others. Typically the only people who went to these mystery daring game things, were Dauntless born, and initiates who had older siblings in Dauntless. I sorta got a few side glances, but no one said anything. It was like it was branded on my forehead, that I had seen something that wasn't affecting me the best. Otherwise I wouldn't be able to run with the pack.

Uriah caught back up and I heard it. Why is the stiff here? I looked back and saw Tris. I shook my head readjusting my earbud, and went towards the back staircase like whoever was in front had called. We head up the dark hall, I take the steps not exactly slow, but slow enough for me to tap the next stair with my toe before just trying to run up blind. I see the door open and we come out next to the glass building. My stomach twisted and I felt my face scrunch. There is still a very subtle stain of blood, from two years ago. I feel someone's shoulder brush mine and I look at Zeke, who offers a soft smirk. I nod once and keep with him. Getting on the train was a breeze, but I don't sit and I don't keep to a group. I at first stood by myself until I heard Shauna say something about Four. I glance over some as Tris asked something about him. I shook my head and Shauna frowned. Kace! I looked over some raising an eyebrow. Why doesn't your brother ever come to these? I rolled my eyes some. Probably because he doesn't want to look at your ugly mugs. I said a smirk present in my voice, but not visible. B-Brother? Shauna looked back from where she had walked over to, as if just realizing what she had said. He took me in two years ago, after my brother died, he sorta filled that void. I said my stomach cramping as I lied about it. I wanted to just scream that yeah, he was my brother. But I knew he'd be mad if I did. Oh. Tris said.
