Kacie! Wake up! I woke up to Four shaking me. What the hell?!? I snapped and his face went slack, and pale. You're awake. He stated and I just looked at him annoyed. Yes, because you woke me up like a lunatic. I said trying to roll over. He grabbed me and sat me up. No! You're awake from the simulation. What? I muttered my stomach dropping. I felt the injection spot. They're controlling us? I asked and he nodded I frowned. How are you awake? Did you not get injected? I got injected. I frowned some and shook my head. Four- Get dressed. I nodded standing up as he exited. I was scared now. Four was scared, I could see it. He wasn't saying anything. I got dressed in what we call Dauntless Uniform. All black, no colored shirts, nothing wild. I grabbed my leather jacket while grabbing the knife set Four got me, and concealing them along with my ipod and keys. I didn't know why I grabbed them, I just did. I pulled my hair back and walked out Four was there.

I woke up this morning to hear it going on. He said and I frowned some. You have to pretend to be just like everyone else, or you will die. I swallowed hard and held in a sob. Stop, Kacie I'm serious. I nodded and we went out. He didn't lock the apartment. I started stepping in time with him, doubling my stride to keep up. We made it to a large trickle of people all in Dauntless Uniform. My stomach dropped. Why are they doing this? I muttered as we got to a dark area. I don't know. He muttered back, we were coming up to a check point. I stopped talking, I let every muscle go slack, I just stared at the back of the persons neck in front of me. I took note that they had leaders stationed at these check points. As Mindless as the rest. Jeanine's words still rung in my head. I didn't know why I was awake. I didn't really know why Four was awake. He wouldn't tell me. We got passed the person. Who else is awake? I don't know yet. He muttered and I frowned. Why can't you tell me? We stopped again. We were getting closer to the pit, where we had to go into single filed lines.

Four went in front of me. I managed to look around without anyone noticing. I took note on who was where, and out of everything, there are no other young teens. I see Max coming over towards our line. I train my eyes on the back of Four's neck. He steps up and within the same second I step up. I was worried I did it wrong. I watch him take a gun, and step up. I step up, and take a gun, doing what Four did. What the others had done, load it, safety on, rifle strap over the head. I step up grab a pistol and holster it. before stepping up, and taking extra bullet cases for both sets of guns. I watch how people walk to other groups. Every other person goes to the left. I count up some, I'll be to the left, Four will be to the right. I will be alone. I had been following his lead, but I can't do that anymore. I march over and turn to face the lines still getting weapons. I scan ever so subtly. My chest burned anytime I took a breath in. Max walked over to me. I just stared dead head. pretending he wasn't there. He waved a hand in front of my face and frowned. Is something wrong? Dexter asked and he shook his head. No, I was just making sure, Tara seemed to think she might have been one. One what? I thought as they moved on.

I held a flinch in as I heard several people moving in time, and I noticed the groups who were armed were turning to face a walk way. When our group would turn, I would be in the front row, right corner. I swallowed. I watched Four's group turn towards the door. I counted and turned in time with the others. From the corner of my eye I saw Tris. We started marching out. We went up the backstairs that we used when we went ziplining. We were heading for the trains. I climbed on when it was my groups turn. I silently counted up how far I was from Four. I was eight rows back. We were packed in. I don't know when but the train started moving. At some point in the ride I felt someone move up next to me, I knew because their shoulder brushed mine. I frowned, and looked over very subtly. I saw Tris. She stepped up. She was awake. I turned back stiffly and stared up, as she managed to get to Four. I felt a chill go down my spine, I blinked a little bit, letting a small sigh out, I felt a tea drip down my cheek.
