Chapter 2 Meeting at Midnight

I looked around. I was back here. I frowned some as I heard someone slightly yelling. NO I CANNOT BE PUT ON- GOD DAMNIT! What's up? Something is wrong with her! And no one seems to care! But I thought we wanted this to end. YES BUT THERE HAS TO BE A BETTER WAY THAN HER STARVING! Eric was angry. He sounded scared. I tried to look at things closer. I noticed I had some sort of Oxygen rebreather on. I was in water, but why would I want this in a dream. Eric you have to relax. She collapsed after an abnormality in the program. She's been out for a day. He stood up and turned. David wanted us to do more controlling? Fine. We'll control, but not the way he'd like. What does that mean? He turned and saw me and sighed some. She's awake. I frowned some but started feeling tired. It's up to her now. I frowned some at Eric's statement. Up to who?

October 20th

I woke up. Everything hurt. The floor under me was cold. I saw the dim lights shining over the pit. I was met with blurred images of the cavern walls. I sat up wincing. I felt my cheek I could feel hard crusty bumps. Scabs. I had to have skinned my cheek when I fell. I had no memory of anything really that had happened prior to me waking up. I stood up, my legs wobbling. I needed water. I frowned some though as I smelled it. I had only really smelled this when in the hospital wing. I checked my watch, I had been out for a whole two days basically. And unfortunately my body did what had to be done. I felt a little disgusted at the fact I had shit and pissed, all involuntarily. I went up to the apartment and went and got cleaned up. When I was exiting I saw my laptop. I had missed the meeting from yesterday. They probably thought I had died or something. I opened the laptop sitting in the chair, pulling the towel around me tighter.

Oct 19th: Tris and others survived trials, deemed innocent. Choosing ceremony bowls destroyed. Factions gone. Unable to make tonight's meet, standby for a new time. P.s She's mixing the clothes now! Not just one Faction

Oct 20th: New curfew rules. Meet same place same time. Be careful.

I sat there shocked my stomach felt heavy. Factions gone. The Factions couldn't be gone. I checked the time. It was already 2 in the afternoon. That only left me a couple hours to get ready and catch up on the lost time from the 18th and 19th. I had some food up in the apartment, that I had to go ahead and eat. I grabbed it and started eating. I couldn't believe how hungry I actually was. I grabbed a drink and started chugging. The sugar is what stood out to me on this one. It tasted so sweet, but it was like I couldn't get enough. I sat on the couch and sighed some as I shoveled more of the food into my mouth. I didn't know how long I could keep going like this. I had to come up with a new plan after tonights meeting. Leave or Stay.

Tobias

I walked down the hall. I have more of my people going out tonight. With more people stationed, we're bound to find her. Evelyn said as she held a tablet out to me. I pushed play on the screen. Somehow on the 14th, she got in and out of Erudite, without anyone noticing, they also had footage of her on the trains. But no one has seen her since this. Tobias- She's a kid, she grew up in Dauntless, and was raised to literally do exactly what she is doing. Which is? Survive. She frowned. She is a trained soldier, Which means you won't find her. Oh so what do you suggest? I sighed some and shook my head. I don't know. I shook my head again. I gotta go. Tobias- look this is all really upsetting for me, I just- I turned and walked off. It felt like forever ago that Kacie left. But the memory was still so vivid. The moment she pulled a gun to me. She could have shot me. She could have done it then. But she didn't. And she was too much like Eric to be that weak. She was making a point of something. I sighed some as I sat down in an office area. She was a crafty kid. I knew she could hold her own. I was hoping the reason no one had found her yet was maybe this Allegiant group had her? She'd at least be safe. Safe from what? Evelyn wanted her found just as badly as I did. I frowned some as the screen in front of me kicked on. A new email? I opened and it frowned. In the inbox I had several read messages. I looked around and started going through them. They were easy to figure out. Who was sending me emails? Someone from here I could tell that much. But who was receiving them? I stared at the most recent one. Kacie. I muttered as I realized whoever was sending these in were going to go see her. I stood up exiting out and closing it. Someone was going to be seeing her. Evelyn was having a group go out and look for her. I had to be the one to find her, if anyone else found her she'd run and or kill them. She'd kill me. I shook my head some. No I had to get her back.
