The next morning I woke up in the new dorm, still hugging the pillow. I got dressed and headed out to the cafeteria. On my way I saw a chore list stuck to my door. I rolled my eyes and pocketed it as I walked towards the dome. I ducked in, no one noticed. I was glad that some skills I had learned in Dauntless came in handy here, just because I wanted to go unnoticed, I wanted to slip away. We take runaways very seriously. I rolled my eyes at the thought of Johanna's words. So what? What would they do? Turn me over to people who didn't know I was awake? I knew being awake wasn't good, I didn't know why though, but one thing was clear, I had to pretend. Go with happiness. I sort of glared as I didn't understand how anyone could be THAT happy 24/7. I grab my plate, and head towards the tables. I see the small group I had come with, I don't want to be near Four, but I couldn't sit anywhere else. I couldn't sit with the Abnegation, because I was the Dauntless girl. I couldn't sit with Amity, because I was the kid from school who was constantly causing some sort of trouble. I hated to admit it, but my best bet was to suck it up and sit at the table with them. I walked over and sat down on the end, next to Caleb.

Good morning, Kacie. He said, his mood much better from the last time I had seen him. I glanced at him and sorta nodded, before turning back. I glared at Four, he was staring me down. Kacie- I glared at Tris who went silent, she got the gist of whatever she had to say, I didn't want to hear it. Four was still dead staring me, but tensed up as a hand came down Tris's shoulder, the same one she was shot in. I didn't look up to see who had walked up, I knew who had. She was shot in that shoulder. Four states, without really looking up. He had looked down and was turning his coffee cup somewhat. I looked down as Marcus sat down. I didn't care what he had to say, I knew what he wanted. What we all wanted. He wanted to leave, to rally everyone and take Erudite down. He knew as well as we did, he couldn't stay here long, without being exposed for what he truly was. a violent, abusive asshole. His cover for protecting himself, was the fact that the remaining Abnegation, if any, were still in there. I looked down at my plate, huffing some as he walked off. Since when does he want to be helpful? I muttered and Four cleared his throat. Not sure, but I don't trust it. I looked up and squinted some. And yet you still want to leave, literally after tomorrow? Oh so you were listening? Unlike you, I learned things from Dauntless. I snapped standing up and storming off.

I sat there and nodded some. What happened to Kacie? Caleb muttered and I shook my head. She's too much like her family. I said pulling her plate over, and grabbing the bacon she didn't touch. Tris frowned some as did Caleb. What? I shook my head some. Nothing. I said looking back where I could see her talking to Johanna who had stopped her. If we get kicked out because of her I swear- You'll do nothing. I said looking back at Caleb and he blinked. Mainly because she would break you in half before you could touch her, but also because that is my sister. I said going back to my plate of food. I knew I had to fix things with her, because we needed her for this if we were going back in. I was just hoping I was prepaired for a broken nose.

I was finishing up my chores. I was cleaning the horse pins out, listening to some music. I looked up as someone knocked on the post. Four stood there and I shook my head. What? I asked as he grabbed a pitch fork and stepped in. I finished my chores. So you came here? I snapped flipping horse shit into a bucket. I wanted to talk. About? The other night. I let an annoyed laugh out while stabbing the pitch fork into the dirt. Of course, you do. I snapped and he sighed. Kacie look, I get you are angry with me- No. I snapped and I stopped. My stomach twisting. I wasn't ready to address this. I didn't know if I'd ever be ready, but I knew right now I really wasn't. Well if you aren't angry, then what are you? I looked to the side and shook my head just a tad. I didn't know what I was. Just spit out what you are really here for, because I know it's not to apologize. I said looking down at my feet, the brown boots replaced my black ones from Dauntless. You think I'm not here to apologize? I know you aren't, you don't understand what you did wrong, therefore you don't think you have to apologize, so just get on with what you want from me.
