Chapter Fourteen.
JUSTIN:
It was spaghetti night at the house for the week and as usual, everything was hectic. Pots and pans were clattering, Mark and Colby were yelling about nothing, and Reina and Casey were talking in the corner about god only knows what. Probably about the wedding.
Scott and I were busy preparing the meal. I was cutting up the peppers and the onions and Scott was stirring the sauce, also finishing the meatballs at the same time.
"It's gonna be ready in like fifteen minutes." Scott said to everyone.
"Can I taste the sauce?" Mark asked, picking up a spoon from the table.
"Yeah."
Scott poured a little into a bowl and handed it over to him, Mark carrying the bowl back over to the table so he could sit down. Reina and I haven't really spoken to each other tonight. Mostly because of the awkwardness of last time. That was exactly why I didn't want to sleep with her because I knew this would happen if we acted more than friends. She wanted us to be more and I just wasn't ready for it yet.
"Shit!" Mark laughed. "Oh my god I'm sorry Reina."
Looking up from the cutting board, Mark had spilled the bowl of sauce onto Reina's lap by accident. She was wearing white pants unfortunately and she immediately stood up from it being so hot, glaring at Mark before she just let out a sigh and grabbed a napkin.
"It's okay." She said. "You didn't mean to."
"It looks like you got your period." Colby chuckled. "Ew."
"Stop Colby." I muttered, everyone turning to look at me. "Don't make fun of her."
Reina sent me a small smile and before I could suggest anything Mark gave her another napkin and sent her a sheepish look.
"Just go upstairs and borrow a pair of my sweats Reina. Okay? It's fine."
Then my eyes narrowed at him and then I brought my gaze to hers, who was looking directly at me. I shouldn't be jealous. I know I shouldn't be but I was and I can't help it. I don't want her wearing any other guy's clothes except mine. My sweats were the only ones allowed on her body.
"Thanks Mark." She said. "I'll uh, I'll be right back."

REINA:
I haven't been in his room in so long. I was supposed to be in Mark's but instead I was in Justin's room, closing the door gently behind me to block out the laughter from downstairs. Should I be in here? Probably not. I should go to Mark's room but it's been forever since I've seen his room and thankfully it hasn't changed any. It looked the same since I was last in it.
