Mando, kuiil the Ugnaught and I sat in the newly reassembled razor crest cockpit. Mando pressed the button that would turn on the engine. I sighed in relief as the engine roared to life, burning a bright orange.

To say that I'm exhausted is an understatement. The three of us have been awake all night putting the crest back together again. It took a very long amount of time to fix it.

It was finally time for us to leave this planet, although I would miss our new friend. He had slowly grown on me.

We walked down to the hull to bid kuiil farewell. "I can't thank you enough. Please allow me to give you a portion of the reward." Mando said to him as we stood at the ramp.

I tensed slightly, right...the reward. For the child. It still didn't sit right with me to be giving a child up to ex-imperials. Especially a child with his...abilities. Who knows what they had planned for him, I don't think I could live with myself if I gave him up.

Kuiil shook his head. "I cannot accept. You are my guest and I am therefore in your service." He stated before he bent down to collect his things.

Mando paced behind him. "We could use a crew member of your ability and I can pay you handsomely." He said to Kuiil.

"I am honored. But I have worked a lifetime to finally be free of servitude." Kuiil replied.

"I understand. Then all I can offer is my thanks." Mando replied.

"And I offer mine. Thank you for bringing peace to my valley." He said to the both of us.

"Take care of yourself." I said lightly as Kuiil turned to walk off the ramp.

"And you." He said before he walked down the ramp and mounted his Blurrg. "And good luck with the child. May it survive and bring you a handsome reward. I have spoken." He said.

Mando and I then turned and walked back up to the cockpit. We were both more than ready to leave. Before Mando sat down, he used his vambrace to push the child's pram over to be on top of one of the passenger seats. I sat down in the other one. I let out a small sigh in relief when I felt my muscles relax slightly.

Mando turned on the ship and we began to lift off of the ground. Kuiil was waving to them as we took off.

We then flew up and out of the planet's atmosphere, back into space again. I felt relieved to see the familiar view.

Mando turned around and reached towards the child's pram again. He shook it gently a few times to see if the child would wake. But the child continued to sleep, not even sturing from the motions.

Mando sighed and turned back around again. I knew that he would never admit it, but the child was starting to grow on him. He was starting to grow on me too.

I glanced over to the child again and was startled to see that he was awake. Sat up in the pram looking around with wide, curious eyes.

Mando put them into hyperspace, he hadn't seemed to notice that the child was awake again.

"Mando." I whispered to him.

"What?" He Said

"The kid's awake." I said, staring at his big brown eyes.

Mando spun around in his seat and saw that the child was sitting up in his pram and no longer unconscious. "Good." He said before he turned back to face the window. Trying to act like he wasn't just as relieved as I was.

The child slid out of his pram and shuffled over to me, grasping onto my boot with his little hands. I smiled down at him and leant down to pick him up. The child cooed as I lifted him up off of the floor.
