Bo-Katan and I followed after the winged creature for about 20 to 30 minutes. We had managed to find its lair and had to watch as the creature dropped the young boy in its massive nest. I wanted to go after him but Bo-Katan wanted to go back to the covert and tell them what we had found.

She believed that it would be safer for a group of us to go after the beast rather than just me alone. I reluctantly agreed and flew back to the covert with her.

Bo-Katan lowered her ship down to the ground. I could see the other Mandalorians, including my Mandalorian, rush out to greet us and find out what had happened. The two of us exited the ship and walked down the ramp to greet them.

Din was quick to approach me and stand by my side. He wrapped his arm tightly around my waist as everyone turned to Bo-Katan. I could tell that he wanted to say something, but that would have to wait until we were alone.

"I kept a high altitude and followed it to its lair. I know how to get there. We should muster up a hunting party and go after him."

"Will you show us where it is?" The armorer asked Bo-Katan. Bo nodded her head and turned back around, heading back to her ship. The armorer, Paz Vizsla, Din and I followed after her. Bo-katan immediately went over to her ship's controls so she could pull up the location.

"We scouted where it lives and mapped the location. There." Bo pulled up a holo image of the mountain range. She walked up to the image and pointed to one of the highest peaks. "The nest."

"It flew a long way." Din said as he looked over the holo image.

"I will go get him." Bo-Katan said.

"The mountains are too high. If we use jetpacks, the beast will hear." Paz said. I would hear the concealed worry in his voice as he spoke of his son.

"It would kill the child." The armorer agreed

"I could go. I can scale that by using the force. I think." I said as I looked over the map.

"It's too dangerous for you to go alone." Bo-Katan said, shutting my idea down.

"Bo's right, you're not going by yourself." Din stated. I sighed softly but nodded anyway.

"These are no higher than the peaks of Kyrimorut. I used to climb them in basic training. I'll fly to the foothills, scale the rest of the way on foot." Bo-Katan explained

"I'll join you." Din said

"So will I." I added. I know that if it were the other way around and Grogu had been taken, I'd want someone to go and rescue him. And perhaps I will prove myself as being trustworthy to the Mandalorians if I save a foundling.

"Paz Vizsla, enjoin the Shriek-hawk training team to accompany you. I will pack extended lariats for your launchers. We must avoid explosives and blasters for the safety of the foundling." The armorer said.

The armorer then looked over at me and nodded her head in the direction of the ship's ramp. "Celeste, would you follow me?"

I nodded my head and turned to follow her out of the ship. I shot a look of confusion over my shoulder at Din before I walked down the ramp and back outside again.

My eyes widened as the armorer placed a silver beskar vambrace into my outstretched hands. The metal was cold against my fingers as I examined it, turning it slowly in my hands. The thing that caught my attention the most was the signet of a mudhorn. It was engraved into the side of the vambrace. I carefully traced my finger over the signet.

"You are a part of clan Djarin, it is only fitting that you wear the signet." The armorer said. I looked up at her and shot her a small smile of appreciation.
