The silent tension that filled the space around them was thick. I breathed out shakily as I waited for the men outside to make a move. I held my blaster close to my chest as I anticipated the fight to come.

"Is there another way out?" Cara broke the silence

"No, that's it." Greef Karga replied

"What about the sewers?" Mando asked him

"Sewers?" Greef Karga asked in confusion

"The mandalorians have a covert down in the sewers. If we can get down there, they can help us escape." Mando explained

"Yeah, sewers are good." Cara said

"Checking for access points." Mando said as he raised his arm to look at the control panel. I could hear a quiet beep coming from his helmet.

"What the hell are they waiting for?" Cara asked as she looked out the broken window

"I don't know." I replied in concern.

"Hold up. They're setting up an E-web." Cara said as she hid herself fully behind the wall.

"It's over." Greef Karga said

"I found the sewer vent." Mando stated

"Let's get the hell out of here." Cara said. They all then quickly moved away from their positions and ran across the room. I stuck close to Mando's side as he made his way towards the sewer entrance.

Mando pulled one of the benches out of the way. Cara then aided him with moving the other one. The bench fell to the ground with a thud and revealed the sewer entrance.

Mando and Cara then both stepped forward and grabbed hold of the metal grating. They grunted as they pulled as hard as they could, but it didn't seem like it wanted to budge.

"It's assembled! How long until that things cleared?" Greef Karga asked

"Blow it." Cara said

"I'm out of charges." Mando replied

I considered trying to use my "abilities"
On the grate door, but Cara seemed to have an idea. Plus, I couldn't even lift a spanner, never mind a grate.

"Get out of the way!" Cara yelled to Mando and I. Cara lifted up a large blaster and began to rapidly shoot at the grate. After Cara had shot around the grate in a complete square she kicked it as hard as she could, but it still didn't open.

"Your absolute panic suggests that you understand your situation." A voice from outside said. I looked out of the shattered window and saw the man in the black cape.

"I would prefer to avoid any further violence, and encourage a moment of consideration. Members of my escort have completed assembly of an E-Web heavy repeating blaster. If you are familiar with this weapon, I am sure that republican shock trooper Carasynthia Dune of Alderaan will advice you that she had witnessed many of her ranks vaporised mid-descent facing the predecessor of this particular model."

I glanced over at Cara, she looked tense, how did this man know so much about her?

"Or perhaps the decommissioned Mandalorian hunter, Din Djarin, has heard about the songs of the siege of mandalore." Mando was tense as He stared out the broken window. I looked over at him in surprise. Din Djarin. That was his name. In all my time of being his companion I had never known it. I said it over and over in my head, testing out the name. I liked it.

"When gunships outfitted with similar ordnance laid waste to fields of mandalorian recruits in the night of a thousand tears."

"And I'm sure that Celeste Delius is very familiar with stormtroopers, considering they aided an inquisitor with the execution of your parents." The man said. I felt my heart drop in my chest and I clenched my fists by my side. "I've heard many things about your gift."
