"Corvus, this is the place. I've detected a beacon. I'm gonna start the landing cycle. You better get back in your seat." I heard Din say to the child in the cockpit.
I walked up to the cockpit door and it slid open. The child was sitting on the console beside Din who was flying the ship. Out the window, there was a mossy green planet coming into view. My heart jumped when I realised how close we were.
"Hey." Din said when he heard the door open. "Sleep okay?"
"Yeah, did you?" I asked him.
"I did." Din replied as he continued to press an array of buttons on the controls. I dipped my head into a nod even though he couldn't see me. Even though I had enjoyed getting to sleep in my own bed again, I had strangely missed his presence. Which isn't something I was willing to say out loud.
I walked into the room and went to go over to the child, but I stopped to watch him when I realised what he was staring at. He was after that metal ball again.
"Hey, what did I tell you? Back in your seat" Din asked firmly when the child didn't move. I couldn't help but smile as I watched them interact.
I walked up to the child and wrapped my hands around him. He cooed as I lifted him up and sat down on the chair, perching him on my knee.
The child looked up at me for a moment before he started to stare at the metal ball that was attached to a lever again. I smiled as he made a quiet noise of indignation. He really wanted that ball.
Suddenly, I felt that pulling sensation again. It was radiating off the child. I looked down at him and saw that he had his hands outstretched, his eyes were shut in concentration. I watched curiously as he unscrewed the metal ball from the console without even moving.
The ball unattached itself from the lever and flew Into his small outstretched hands. The strange feeling was beginning to feel comforting to me, it was like feeling the presence of something I've known my whole life. It's like having a security blanket when you're a child.
I looked down at the child and smiled gently as he happily gurgled now that the ball was in his hands. Let's hope that Ahsoka Tano is on Corvus, and that she can give us answers.

I stepped off of the metal ramp of the crest and onto the softer ground of Corvus. The sky was completely covered in a thick, green fog. Casting the entire planet in a mossy shade of green. The trees that surrounded us looked dead, the dark branches towered over us ominously. There were also several stumps and fallen trees that covered the ground.
The sun just managed to shine through the thick atmosphere. Giving the planet the smallest amount of yellow that blended well with the green of the sky.
In the distance, behind the dead trees, I could see several strange creatures that I didn't recognise. They almost had the shape of a blurrg but I could tell from where I stood that they were much bigger.
Din stood tall on my left, the both of us were surveying the area while we waited for the child to catch up. He had insisted upon walking down himself since he kept squirming in my grasp and crying to be let down.
The child cooed and the both of us turned our heads to look at him. He had sat himself down on the ramp to look at the metal ball in his hands.
"What did I say about that? This needs to stay in the ship." Din said as he slowly took the hall out of the child's hands. The child chirped in indignation as Din placed the ball in a compartment on his belt.
"Not much to see out here." Din said as he looked around
"No kidding." I said quietly in response.
"Never had dealings with a Jedi before. Let's head into town. See if we can pick up a lead." Din said as he scooped the child up.
