Heart Beating Love

Chapter 3

Alex is stuck against a wall while three guys surrounded her. One starts groping her boobs, the other is rubbing her his hand all over her, and the last is in her face trying to kiss her.
" Come on little lady we are just having a little fun." Alex trys pushing the man away but he grabs both her fists in one hand and holds them against the wall and she can't move. The one in her face starts kissing and sucking her neck instead of kissing her face. Suddenly she is loose and the guy is on the ground on the other side of the alley. The man that was groping her is on the other side of the alley getting beaten by a shadowy figure. The last man standing grabs her by her hair and presses a knife to her throat. The figure grabs the first man takes the second one and knocks them out by bashing each ones head in to the others.
Then the figure turns towards them " Come on man you don't want me to hurt her. I will! This is non of your business just walk away." The figure walks towards them and walks into light coming down from the opening to the alley. Alex can't believe it. The shadowy figure who come out the guys is Adrian.
"Zero? Man what are you doing here?" Adrian tilts his head to the left then lunges at them. He tackles them both but gets thevthirf guy by himself somehow. The guy slices at Adrian and gets him down the arm with the blade. Adrian grabs the mans head and slams it against his own the man goes still beneath him. Alex stares at the boy she stood up for this morning. Adrian stands up and walks over to her. He pulls up her shirt so nothing is showing and smooths her hair down. Then he takes two steps back and turns to leave the alley way.
"Wait" she says as she runs after him. Adrian turns towards her then looks her over as to double check she is okay.
"What?" He says as he looks at her.
"Thank you... how did you do that? " he says nothing as he stands there for a few moments.
"Adrenaline maybe? I don't know I saved you didn't I?"
"Yeah but-"
"But nothing I saved you, you don't need to know how I saved you. Now come on I'll walk you home."
He stands there waiting as she grabs her bag off the ground. They walk in complete silence to her house.
She unlocks her front door and turns to him. "Aren't your parents home?"
Alex shakes her head " No they are on a business trip." She says as she drops her stuff by the door. Alex wants to know more about him, she wants him. Alex has the sudden urge to be with him, to do things with him l.She walks up to him. He goes rigid as a rock as she puts her lips to his. Alex grabs his face in hands and pushes her lips harder against his. His lips soften and his muscles relax a little. He grabs her up in his arms and kisses her back. She closes her door behind him as HD walks them inside. She directs them to the couch where he ssets her down on the arm and kisses her. She forces herself onto him as he sits down on the couch.
Then suddenly he pulls away "I can't do this." Adrian says as he stands up and fixes his hoodie.
"What do you mean? Is something wrong?" She asks confused because he has been kissing her back.
"Yes you just got jumped and almost raped by three random guys."
"So....?" Alex says not understanding his point.
"I want to be with you" she says.
Adrians face fills with pain "You want me because I just saved you. You're not thinking clearly. I have to go. See you tomorrow in school."
With that Adrian opens the front door and walks out and into the night. Alex sits there stunned to the point of numbness. He is right. She isn't thinking clearly. With that Alex curls up on the couch and falls asleep
