Chapter 6

Adrian gets off the bus and completely ignored the girl he has learned is called Alex. He gets half way through the day, he is walking walking to lunch when a hand grabs him and pulls him into the library. The person pushes him up against the wall. He screams as his lashes hit the brick. The figure lets him to and he crumples to the floor. The lights go on and he see's Alex through his blurred eyes." What is wrong with your back that causes that much pain?" He looks up at her with malice." Why would you shove me into a wall?" Alex sits next to him on the floor." You wouldn't tell me so I tested it myself. No matter what you say or I say I'm worried about you Adrian." Adrian gets himslef to a sitting position across from her." Do you really want to know that much?" Alex nods and Adrian knows that if he shows her he has to make her swear to secrecy." Come with me after school today." He says knowing that showing her his 'job' would be a better idea than showing her his dad's work. Alex looks at him unsurely then nods." Okay but your going to explain everything then." He smiles as he stands up and grabs his bag." Don't worry I'll explain everything." Alex runs over to him and takes his face in hers and kisses him. Then she leaves the library without another word. He turns off the lights and leaves knowing that his father would not be at all happy with him. As the rest of the day goes by he gets less certain about taking a girl he barely knew to the ring. When the final Bell rings Adrian waits for Alex. When she finally comes out all his doubt disappears with a glance at her. She smiles and adrians heart melts." So are you ready to explain everything." He nods and starts walking to the ring. Adrian can't help the feeling that over whelmed him every time he looked at Alex. Is this what his father had warned him about?... Love.
