Love all, trust a few, do wrong to none. ~William Shakespeare
Luke's POV
"Come on Luke." Michael sighed as I was putting on my shoes. I was in no mood to follow Michael to meet up with everyone. It was indeed Sunday, and I knew what that meant.
Dallas.
"Are you alright?" Michael asked as we walked outside. "You just look super..Upset." I shrugged. "Dallas, huh? Well don't worry, he's not going to bother you."
"I know he won't." I sighed. "Let's just go, damn do I hate Sunday's."
"Hey at least you aren't in the running to pay." Michael said. "We should really get you on that, I think it would be fun."
"Michael I don't want to pay for a group of teenagers to eat pizza." I rolled my eyes.
"It's not that." Michael said. "You just get to play like a competition. It's fun, you should I consider it."
"Sorry I suck too much at video games for that."
"Well then practice!" Michael said.
I rolled my eyes and climbed into Michael's car. Crossing my legs as I sat in the seat. I kept my eyes out the window. Glancing at everything while we passed by. Eventually we would arrive at a restaurant but I noticed that Michael left the car locked. I turned my head and saw him looking at me, a confused look.
"What..?" I asked.
"Luke you need to talk to me, something's wrong and what is it?" Michael asked.
"There are a lot of things I can tell you, but this is not one of them." I sighed, manually unlocking the car and climbing out. Ignoring the look on Michael's face. I do not know why I did not just turn around and tell him exactly what was happening. I figured I did not the dramatics of Dallas verses Michael once more. Instead this would just be easier, the sand would finally settle and I would be able to breathe in without smoke from my life going up in flames choking me.
I walked in and saw the group smiling, a few of those smiles were wicked. I let out a sigh and headed towards the table.
"Luke come sit next to me." Dallas smiled, patting the space next to him I settled myself there. "You don't look too nervous today." Dallas said, he leaned close to me ear and whispered. "We can change that."
"Yeah you would think so." I sighed as I pushed him back. Michael took a seat next to me, he was more awkward then I had hoped. He was either looking towards someone else or down on his hands. He refused to look towards me.
"I see you get started early." Dallas smiled as he punched my arm.
"Hey." I snapped.
"Easy put your fangs away dog." Dallas chuckled.
"You won't have to worry about those.." I snarled. "Dogs have claws too, Texas."
"Oo feisty, I like it." Dallas said, shaking his head slowly, he pulled me towards him. "Watch it."
"Right, sorry." I sighed as I leaned back.
"So, are you going to get started?" Dallas smiled. "I see you've already dealt your fair share to Michael."
I leaned back, taking a deep breath.
"Why don't you start with..Mikki." Dallas suggested. "That's a good first choice, don't you think?"
I bit down on my lip. Mikki? Mikki was so nice though.. She let me in from the start, she was helpful and she was caring. I was being asked to turn around and do the opposite.
