Luke's POV
I walked down the hallway after school, and reached my locker. I saw Dallas standing there with..
"Oh hey Luke!" Mindy called with a smile. I waved to her as she pranced over to the side of me, a little too close for comfort.
"Dallas," I said. "Would the reason Mikki slapped me across the face have anything to do with you?"
"Oh Mikki is the least of your worries Luke." Dallas chuckled. "Hey babe, can you do me a favor?"
"Course, Dal." Mindy smiled. "When?"
"Let me check." Dallas said. He walked around the other side of me and looked down the hallway. "You're good to go."
"What are you looking at?" I asked and as I went to look around the corner felt Mindy pull back on my arm. She slammed my locker shut and pushed me against it. "What are you doing!?"
"A favor for a friend." Mindy said, and with that - she kissed me. This disgusting girl dared to touch me. But before I could react in any way I heard a gasp and turned to see Michael standing wide eyed.
"Dallas you.." I snarled as I walked towards him, pushing Mindy far back. But as I got close to Dallas I was pushed back onto the floor by Michael.
"Don't you dare touch him." Michael snarled. I could feel the anger radiating off of him. "First, this?" Michael held up his phone. "And now this!?" He gestured towards Mindy.
"This is Dallas, he's setting me up!" I said.
"Really cause this sounds like your voice." Michael said and with one click, mine and Dallas's conversation from the morning played through the hallway. Echoing off of the walls. "Get up."
I stood up off the floor and onto my feet. "So you really are gay, huh?"
"Dallas is doing this, why don't you believe me!" I squeaked.
"Oh bite me." Michael snarled and punched me in the face. I fell back down onto the floor and gripped my jaw as I looked back to Michael.
"What..?" I mumbled. Michael walked over and kicked my side and I heard him walking away as I gripped my side.
"Luke, I told you to leave when you had the chance." Dallas whispered to me, I lifted my head and could see him smiling at me. "I don't lose. I've got you in my web, and I got Michael to believe me. You're worth nothing. You lost. What do you have to say about that?"
"Why me?" I asked and Dallas seemed shocked with my response. "What did I ever do to you? Were you really worried about me taking Michael away, that you would do that to me?"
"I.."
"If this is what I am truly worth Dallas, and you don't want me around that much..Fine." I said, looking downward. "I can't blame you for what happened, even if you didn't set me up. I did say some things I regret this morning. I never meant any of it. But this is what I deserve." At this point I turned my head back to Dallas. "I'm sorry for what I did to you, if I did anything. I won't get in your way anymore.."
I stood up off the floor and walked away from Dallas, holding my side with my hand as he stood shocked. When I walked outside I could feel the sun beating down, but I did not feel like it warmed me. It gave me no happiness like it usually does. Especially when I was stopped my Ashton and Calum. Each looking quite angry.
"I-If you guys are gonna beat me up, do it." I said.
"Gladly." Calum said and once more I was punched in the jaw. I stumbled slightly but felt my arm grabbed by Ashton.
"I'm your friend Luke, but I thought you were more then scum." Ashton snarled. He spit on my face and threw me to the ground on the other side of them. "Get the hell out of here."
"Okay." I nodded and stood up, wiping my face and heading off of the school property. I turned back and once more saw Dallas standing outside, he was talking to Ashton and Calum but his eyes were locked on me.
When I got to my house I could already hear the yelling coming from inside. I walked inside the house and saw my parents bantering back and forth. They stopped when they saw me but offered no assistance.
"What the hell happened to you?" My mother asked.
"Had a..Had a bit of a rough day." I said.
"Did you get suspended again, you look like you've been fighting." My father spoke. I shook my head. "Figures. You probably lost the fight since it was real this time."
"Yeah, I did." I muttered.
"Luke what is going on with you?" My mother asked, she showed no remorse for me still, which only seemed to bother me more.
"I lost everything." I said. "E-Except for you guys." I looked up to my parents who exchanged glances.
"I'm going out." My father muttered.
"Take me with you." My mother responded and the two buzzed past me, I had been here for only a few minutes and was already being abandoned.
I looked to the door and heard it shut, my parents were gone in seconds.
I tried my best to keep my composure but sat on the couch and cried into my hands. Eventually I had calmed. But I think it was only because a human can only cry so much.
While sitting on the couch my father's phone went off. I picked it up and saw a name across the screen. 'Chantel Desch.' I unlocked my father's phone and went wide eyed at the sight, I scrolled up and read through the conversation.
"My.." I muttered to myself. "My father's cheating on my mum.." I felt the phone fall from my hand as I stared blankly into space.
I think this is where I lost my mind.
