Michael's POV

I sat with Luke at the doctor's office. He complained about going, but with much persuasion we convinced him to come with us - his mother and I. Currently Luke was playing with my hand, lifting it and looking at it.

"Whatcha doing there?" I smiled to him.

"Michael why did you come to see me after a long time?" Luke asked. "I thought you didn't like me?"

"No, I still love you." I said.

"Oh." Luke said and shrugged. "Well I love you too."

"You remember what happened, don't you?" I asked. Luke nodded. "What happened?"

"I said mean things and then Mindy kissed me. You thought I was kissing her but I wasn't." Luke shook his head. "That's why Avelyn doesn't like you."

"Okay tell me about those three then." I said. "So I can talk about it later."

"Cashile is mean, he says mean things." Luke said. "Jem doesn't like mum, he's not very good at forgiving people. Avelyn always says really sad things. Which is why she doesn't like you."

"Why doesn't she like me?" I asked.

"Cause you made Luke sad." Luke mumbled.

"You're Luke." I said.

"Right." Luke nodded as if he was remember. "Right, you made me sad."

"I'm sorry." I said. "I wasn't thinking straight."

"That's cause you're not straight." Luke smiled.

"Oh my gosh." I laughed. "No that's not how it works."

"I know." Luke nodded. "Michael?"

"Yeah?"

"Am I sane?" Luke asked.

"Yes."

"Why are we here then?" Luke tilted his head to the side.

"To get rid of Cashile, Avelyn and Jem." I said. "We don't need those guys around. Especially if they do things like I think they do. How do you feel?"

"I don't feel anything." Luke shook his head. "I keep telling you that."

"Then we're going to fix that too." I said. "We're just going to make everything okay again. Alright?" Luke nodded and a doctor came and said his name.

"Are you coming?" Luke asked me.

"I don't think I'm allowed to." I shook my head.

"No you have too..Mum doesn't understand.." Luke frowned. "She doesn't like me.."

"She does." I said.

"Mikey.." Luke huffed.

"I don't think I'm allowed to." I repeated.

"You can come." The doctor smiled. I nodded and stood up, following the doctor and Luke walked slowly down the hallway. Constantly looking around.

"Luke come on." I said as I pushed on his back a little.

"Don't touch me." Luke said, a glare crossing his features.

"Alright." I said, putting my hands up. Luke folded his arms and continued to do what he previously did. When we stepped inside a room I sat down in a chair - as did Luke's mother - but he just stood there.
