The time has come, the guard along with the rest of the Pride Lands are ready for the fight of their lives. Akili has yet to show up but that's not what everyone is worrying about, they're all just looking ahead to the battle in front of them.
Kion was walking through the crowd of animals making his way to his guard. "Guys we got this ok, no reason to be worried about anything, we got each other's backs like we always do" Fuli said the Guard.
The Guard had been worried for this fight, but they were ready nonetheless, Kion looked over his friends, and remembered the day where he received the roar of the elders and chose his friends to be the members of his guard. The first guard that wasn't completely lions, and while it took a while to earn the trust of the lands, they made it work and couldn't be happier.
Fuli continued talking to the Guard as Kion approached them. "Kion!" They all cheered at the sight of their leader, "hey guys, how are you all" the lion said all of them giving mixed reactions, while they all tried to conceal their worry, Fuli's was obvious.
"Hey Fuli, can I talk to you?" he asked looking towards her, Fuli straightened up instantly trying to put on a smile "of course Kion, let's go" she said. Fuli and Kion walked not too far but far enough where the others wouldn't hear them.
"Fuli, sit down" said the golden lion patting the ground beside him which Fuli obliged, "what's bothering you Fuli, and don't try to hide it I know something is bothering you so you might as well tell me" he said with a look of concern over his face.
Fuli looked to Kion, "I don't know what you are talking about Kion, I'm perfectly fine" said the cheetah looking back to her leader who had a stern look coming over his face.
Fuli sighed deeply, "I'm scared Kion" she forced out, Kion smiled as he looked back at her, "you have nothing to be afraid of Fuli, you're one of the strongest people I know, and I know for a fact that you can hold your own" the lion said.
"It's not me that I'm worried about Kion, I'm worried about the others, I'm worried about the guard, I'm worried about you Kion" Fuli said. Kion's face lost its light in that moment, his smile disappearing, the gleam in his eyes going dark.
"I'm happy to know it isn't only me, while it's easy to tell it's nice to hear it from someone else" said the golden lion looking to the ground beneath him. "But here's the thing Fuli, while we are scared, we know deep inside it will be ok and we'll make it out of this fine, right?"
"That's the thing Kion, something doesn't feel right here, something's going to go wrong I can feel it" she said. "Well, we'll just need to be ready for it then and like always, we'll have each other's backs" Kion said as he started walking back to the rest of the army. "Now let's go Fuli, we have a war to win."

As time was inching closer the entire army of the Pride Lands grew more and more impatient, they were tired of waiting.
"It's time Kion," said a lion from behind him. "They're all growing impatient, it's time to finish this" the lion said. Kion looked behind him to see none other than Akili approaching the guard.
Kion nodded as he walked to the edge of a boulder overlooking the entire army of the Pride Lands. "Pride Landers, the day has come, today we finally put an end to the war between Scar and the Outlands once and for all" Kion yelled, the army cheering below him.
"WE'LL FIGHT FOR WHAT'S RIGHT"
"PRIDE LANDERS UNITE"
With that the entire army charged at the Outlander army below, all separating to take on a different group as the guard headed straight for the volcano to take out Scar.
