Akili walked through the fields of the Tree, his mind racing from the previous night, he felt a huge weight lifted from his shoulders, almost as if the grief had been removed from his mind, he felt free.

The devils dozen assassins had been dealt with like they were child's play, Akili's power level had risen, and everyone could feel it, this wasn't the Akili that had walked the earth for the last decade, this was something new, something even more dangerous than before.

Akili picked his head up, the sun beaming down onto his face, a gentle breeze running through his fur, it felt like he was stepping back into Eternity, a crisp and cool air, the warmth of the daytime, a feeling of completeness that he hadn't felt in years.

But something still wasn't there, "come home" the voice wouldn't leave his head, but now instead of treating it as a burden he treated it as a guide, a piece to lead him on, his home was still under the rule of a false king, it was up to him to take it back.

The sun had hit its peak and Akili rested in the shade by the Tree of Life, he had his eyes shut gently, allowing himself to feel the world around him, the slow vibrations that the wind made, he felt the bugs moving beneath the grass below him, he heard the grazing of herds and the chirping of birds, and then the voice of another interrupted it.

"I want to talk to you" it said, Akili turning to find the young prince of the Tree, "Nguvu, to what do I owe the pleasure" said the black lion as he kept his vision pointed away from the one who spoke to him, "my eyes, how do you know they were like my father's?" he asked.

Akili lightly chuckled at the question, but as he looked back to Nguvu he saw the look of sincerity over his face, "oh, you actually mean that question" said the lion in surprise, "well, I guess you have a reason to know" said Akili as he patted the grass beside him.

Nguvu took his spot next to the larger lion who began to speak, "he was an old partner of mine, Zaidi, the Fallen King, he wasn't royal blood like me, but he still held a great importance to the people of his land, they loved him, adored him," said the lion.

Akili slowly looked down at Nguvu before he spoke, "he didn't appreciate the praise though, he only heard the negatives, he believed he sat in the shadows of his partners, especially his leader.

He went mad, his nickname of "The Lost Fallen" only angered him, the nicknames others were given had seemed like praise, but he felt his was neglect." Akili said.

Nguvu continued to think, "what happened to him?" He asked, "he left, he ran away even though I tried to help him, he died 7 years ago, right as I was about to find him again" Akili said, his emotion remaining unchanged throughout the entire tale.

"Your father was a great lion, strong, powerful, kind, he just let everything go to his head and it destroyed him" said the lion, "once your time comes to pass through the golden gates of Eternity, you'll be able to get to know him for yourself" he told the prince.

Nguvu took a sigh of relief and smiled, "run off now, I'm sure the Night Pride needs you" said Akili with a chuckle, Nguvu slowly picking himself up to his fours giving a nod, "thank you, Akili" he said before turning and running off.

Akili watched as the lion ran off and smiled to himself, "he takes after you, Baliyo, it's unfair you had to leave so soon, I never expected him to target the Tree" he said to the air as he looked to a mountain at the edge of the land, "I should've been here to help" he whispered.

A brown lion stood strong in the center of the field, his body covered with scratches, blood leaking from his mouth, but he wasn't worried, the bodies of multiple felines laid below him, ranging from lions, to leopards, and many others.
