Tears could be seen filling the eyes of Dexter as he looked into the red eyes of Akili, Dexter was able to raise a paw of his to connect with Akili's and sent a shock to his brain through it, allowing him to escape from Akili's grip temporarily.
Akili was quick to recover though, but just as he was about to pounce back at Dexter multiple vines had wrapped around his legs disabling his ability to move.
Akili's vision shot to every possible surface until he spotted Talon, paw raised and a green light shining from his eyes.

While Akili was distracted by the barrage, Talon had jumped onto one of the spikes and hung onto it as it went farther into the air.
Talon, whose eyes were now shining gold, jumped from the tip of the spike, directing himself straight at Akili, multiple bolts of golden lightning following, striking down onto Akili, but he was left mostly unphased.
Akili didn't have time to think after the lightning hit him though as Talon had smashed into Akili's side, placing a paw on the side of Akili's head and smashing him through the ground.
