Chapter twenty-eight: One Year Later
(Ace's POV)
I couldn't believe what was happening, why now of all times, when I couldn't use Chaos Control to get me there any quicker. If I didn't get there soon Amy would be really pissed at me, 'When she's mad she can be scarier than Bolt.' I thought to myself. I ran at full speed to the town and arrived in about an hour. I continued to run down the street until I reached the hospital, I ran inside and to the front desk and asked, "What room is Amy Rose in?" The women at the front desk began typing things into the computer, "Room 170." She said. I ran down the hallways until I arrived at room 170, I could faintly hear a baby crying from inside, I walked inside and saw Amy lying in a hospital holding a small baby hedgehog wrapped in a blanket. "Sorry I'm late." I said smiling at Amy, "Come, meet your son." She said smiling back at me. All of our friends were here as well, even Shadow, surprisingly. I walked over to Amy and she handed me the baby, he wasn't crying anymore, instead he was silently sleeping. He had red quills and was an average size for a baby. "Have you thought of any names?" Cream asked. "Not yet well think of something." Amy said. Then the baby sneezed and fire came out, everyone stared at the baby in shock, "He's definitely your son Ace." Amy said.
