Chapter 25

ADDISON:
It's been just over a month since the birth of Teddy, today Decs starting his first match for England. He's come so far in recovering. He doesn't think I'm coming to watch his game today, because of Teddy being so little. Mason knows I'm coming and we think it'll be a great surprise for him.
Kick off is at 3 so we're getting there for 1pm so he can spend time with Teddy before warming up. I get out of the car and Mase is waiting at the doors, he comes I've to the car gives me a cuddle and gets Teddy out. He looks at Teddy's top which I had made specially to have Mount-Rice on the back, "Uncle Mase loves the top Teds" he says giving him a kiss. "Does Dec have any idea we're coming Mase?" I ask and Mase shakes his head telling me that Dec doesn't have a clue.
I place the pram in a spare room that Gareth suggested and take Teddy from Mase, I walk into the dressing room, "Thought we'd come say good luck to daddy before the game starts" I say as I walk in with Teddy in my arms. All the boys say 'aww' Dec comes over gives me a big kiss and takes Teddy. "Hey Ted, have you come to see Daddy play football today" I smile and take a photo of them together. "Look at his top babe" I say as Dec looks so do the other boys they all laugh, "I thought I'd surprise you" and Dec hugs me tight, you can tell he's worried about this game.
Dec holds me in his arms as the other lads take turns having their cuddles with Teddy, they call it uncle duties. "You are amazing baby you know that" Dec says to me as we sit cuddling, "we wouldn't miss your first game back babe, im so super proud of you. You know that Decsy" he smiles and kisses me deeply.
We hear a cough, we look around and it's Mason "I love you both and glad your happy but I don't want to see your tongue down my sisters throat Dec" we all laugh so I look at Dec and say "we can finish this later in bed baby" and then we hear Mason say "again don't need to hear that either" everyone ends up laughing.
Gareth comes in for a pre-match talk and sees me and Teddy, he comes up gives me a cuddle and says congratulations. "Can I have a cuddle" he asks so I hand Teddy over to him, when he starts the pre-match talk he begins it "right boys, we have this very important supporter today who you all need to impress. We can't have little Teddy here thinking his dad and uncles aren't any good at football" everyone laughs as he finishes his pre-match talk with ted in his arms. As the boys head to the tunnel, Gareth tells a member of staff to get Teddy's pram then looks at me and says "can't have you 2 in the stands, come and sit with us then if you need anything you've got all of us." I thank him, Dec and Mase hear and shake his hand thanking him again.
I follow Gareth to the seats and can see the cameras looking, Teddy is in his pram asleep, I've pulled the hood up and kept his face away from the cameras as I don't want him exposed to all that yet.
The game starts and the boys score 2 goals within 30 minutes, it's an amazing game. Decs smile is amazing, he's back where he belongs, back doing what he is amazing at. I honestly couldn't be prouder.
It's the 60th minute and Gareth subs Dec off as it's his first game and it's going to be tough, he comes off the pitch and straight to me and the pram. "Well done baby. You were amazing. We're both proud of you" I say giving him a big kiss and cuddle which I know the cameras will capture and people will write about later but I really don't care.
Final whistle blows and it's a 2-0 win for the England boys. They all come off the pitch ecstatic with the result as it's was a difficult game. Once the boys are changed we all head back to ours to celebrate.

We've been back about an hour now and most of the lads are here now as they went to get changed before coming, "beers and pizza sound good" I say out loud for everyone to hear. And they all cheer, Chilly, Hendo and Pickford, got the job of going to the supermarket to get the beers. I made sure Teddy was fed and settled but he's laying with daddy whilst they play fifa.
DECLAN:
"Aww look at Daddy Deccers" I hear Madders say, then Harry K says "he's finally joined the club" we all laugh, I look at them and say "This little boy and my amazing fiancé are honestly the best thing that's happened to me" they all make aww sounds. "Thanks bro" Mase laughs at me but then continues to say "I've never seen you happier, than when you're with my sister. Plus you both gave me a beautiful nephew"
Teddy starts to get a bit agitated, "anyone want to take my remote and play, he wants to be walked around" I say as Harry K says "you carry on playing against Mase, I'll walk around with him. I miss my little ones being this size" he takes Teddy and he stops crying, "magic touch there mate" I laugh, then Madders asks "I take it Ads isn't drinking tonight, as she only told us boys what we wanted. Is it because of Ted, as I was thinking maybe a couple of us could not drink and we can keep an eye on him tonight so she can enjoy herself" I look at Mads, "that's a good idea. I should've thought about that. I'll stay sober tonight." He laughs at me and I'm confused "no Dec I meant you both have a drink, both of you have a night off, he'll still be in the house so it's not too much worry but relax you both deserve it, you're celebrating your first game back and to be honestly you've got a fucking good mrs. She's amazing to all of us" they all nod and agree. Harry is now talking to Ted in a baby voice while Ted grips his finger, "I'll have him lads, I don't need help really, but I ain't getting any of your drunk asses in bed. He is my only priority, anyway Dec I've got enough experience" I hug Harry, "thanks mate, I'll go tell Ads" as I leave i hear Mase thanking Harry too, we both know Addi really needs this.
"Ads baby where are you" I say as I walk into the kitchen. "I'm here babe what's up? Teddy okay?" I hug her tight and say "Harry's gonna have Teddy for us tonight, so we can both have a drink and relax, I would say you get a choice but he started cuddling him and honestly I don't think he's gonna give him back anytime soon" I giggle thinking back to the baby voices he was doing when I left. She smiles wide "he is amazing, I'll go thank him now, I won't get too drunk but a drink will be amazing, my first in like 9 months." She pours herself some wine, then heads into the front room to thank Harry.
