Chapter 60

ADDISON:
We're back in the UK now, the holiday was amazing, we've been back about 2 weeks. It's now September, we've enrolled Teddy into a private nursery, he's only going 2 days a week, for a few hours but it will give him social skills with other children plus it will let him be around other children more. Dec and Mase are coming with me to drop him off at nursery on the way to training. As we take him in, he cried at first but soon sees the toys and runs in. He's going to do 9am-3pm, on his 2 days. As we leave the nursery, I cry as I feel so bad, the boys reassure me that the 2 days a week will do him good, plus he can make friends.
I walk into town with Evelyn in the pram, Dec and Mase finish training at 2:30 today so will pick Teddy up later. I always get looks when I'm out, and I know it's because people know who I am, I've gotten used to it now.
As we're walking to pay in a shop, I see this older woman drop all of her items, she's literally in front of me. I instantly go to help her, she's so thankful, we talk for a while, she asks about Evelyn and tells me all about her grandchildren, she then says "you're such a kind hearted girl, I know who you are love and honestly I've never met someone nicer. Please ignore all the horrible things the horrible people on the internet and in the newspaper have to say. I wish you all the best my love" I hug her and say goodbye. She really made my day, Evelyn and I finish shopping and head home.
It's now 2:30, Dec told me they're on their way to get Teddy, I decide to start dinner while Evelyn sleeps. I'm making curry, it's a dinner everyone eats, plus at 6, we've got the project manager coming round to update us about how the building is going on the new places.
At 3:20, the front door opens, I run to meet Teddy, he gives me a big hug and starts trying to tell me all about his day. He seems so happy. After dinner he comes up to me and says "I tell Dack, nursery" I smile and say "okay mate, we'll call Jack." I get my phone and FaceTime Jack.
Jack
J-Hey Ads, everything okay?
A-Yeah but I've got a little boy here who wanted to tell you about his first day at nursery. Is now okay? Or are you busy? We can call back later as it looks like I've called at a bad time.
J- No never too busy to hear about Teds day, I totally forgot he was starting nursery today, I would've called earlier.
T- Hi Uncle Dack
J- Hey Ted mate, how are ya?
T-I been nursery
J-Was it fun mate?
T-Yeah lots toys. Dack come see
J-I'll come see you at nursery soon mate. I'll sort out with mummy and daddy about picking you up soon, we can get ice cream.
T-Ice-Cream yay. (Ted Yawns)
J- Teddy mate, why don't ya go to bed and get some sleep, you've had a long day and I'll come see you really soon. I love you little man.
T- Love you Dack Bye
A-Thanks Jack, I'm sorry if I interrupted anything.
J-Don't be silly, I'll answer always, unless playing obviously, but I mean it, I told you, im always here for you, dec and the kids, good and bad times, it's really made my day that he loves nursery. I'll come visit you all soon.
A- Sounds good, thank you Jack. Love ya
J- Love ya too

After speaking to Jack, Teddy wants to go to bed. He asks Mason, "uncle Mase, Bed please" Mason grins and carries him to say goodnight to us, then take him upstairs. Unfortunately, the builder has cancelled and is coming at another time, but updated Mase over the phone that all is going well, hopefully we'll be able to move in, at the new year.
I smile and say to Dec "Jack loved hearing Teddy talk about his day, but I feel like I interrupted him, I did ask but he told me it was fine." Dec laughs and says "baby, Ted is like number one for Jack, no girl is coming above him."
I send Jack a text just to make myself feel better

Within minutes a reply comes through...

You didn't interrupt. Stop worrying

It makes me feel a lot better now and we just relax and watch a film until bed.
It's now 5:30am, Evelyn is awake for a bottle, I look at my phone and I see I have a message on instagram. I open it and it's from Hannah, when I look through the profile, I see its the interviewer that Jacks been seeing for a few weeks. However, it's not a nice message at all.

You interrupted my date time with Jack again, having a footballer husband and brother giving you attention just isn't enough, you have to try and steal my man too... using your fucking little shitty kid as an excuse to talk to Jack, you knew exactly what you was doing when asking him to be godfather, you use his kindness, to get what you want.
I heard you tell him you love him... Well I mean look at your record, you got with and had a kid with your brothers best friend, you cheated on him with a teammate, got pregnant with another shitty kid, which no one's clear who the dad is, whether is Declan or Jordan, then you leave your husband when he's struggling, realise you get more money and attention with him, so you get back with him whilst still seeing Jordan, and now trying to use the stupid kids to get Jacks attention. We all know you're just a slag, who uses your body and kids to get what you want! He's only being nice, he doesn't like your kids at all, it's all lies.
I will make sure everyone knows exactly who you are and what you're doing. I mean it seriously stay away from my man.. or else!!

I am so shocked by the message, By 6:15, Evelyn falls back to sleep but I cant. Is that really what people see me as? I mean I said love ya to Jack, I say it to all the lads, soon before I realise it I'm crying, Dec must've heard and is now cuddling me, waiting for me to explain what's wrong, once I'm calmed down I say "I received a message, Jack had company when I called earlier and she's messaged accusing me of shit and saying I'm using my kids to get with Jack, and because I said 'love ya' at the end of our conversation." I show him the message and he says "What the actual fuck!" It comes out a lot louder than expected as a couple of minutes later, Mason comes in worried, I explain it all again and show the message. "I'm now worried she's going to cause loads of false articles about me now, well it's not me that I'm worried about but all of your names will be dragged through shit, and let's face it.. it's Jack, I mean we all know he's lovely but in the eyes of the media, they will believe it" I say now crying again.
By the time I'm calm again it's 6:45am, we decide to get up and get a tea. Dec and Mase, say I should tell Jack, but I don't want to make him feel bad.
By 7, the boys say Jack will be awake so Decs gonna call him to come over before training.
