ADDISON:
I hand Dec his beer and I take a sip of my juice. I take a deep breath and begin "so I wanted to chat about everything because if I'm being honest I've loved spending this time with you again and I just want to see where your at with your feelings and in terms of us" I say and he looks shocked but then smiles. "I never stopped loving you Addi, I never took my ring off and I kept yours in my wallet. I'll go straight to the point, I'll always love you and I'd love to be us again, when you're ready" I grin at him "I never stopped loving you too, but we do need to talk properly about everything" he nods then says "I need to apologise and I will be for the rest of my life, I knew deep down you didn't ever do anything with Jordan and I know he's never do that to me. Also I know I need to explain the Lauren thing" I look at the floor at the mention of her name "Why do it Dec?" I say with tears coming. He looks down at the floor now "I don't know, she sent me pictures of what looked like you and Jordan kissing, then she used it as her opportunity to get in between and I let it happen, the instagram post wasn't what it looked like, I went to a bar and got really drunk and she took me back to hers. The day before the match I found a text come through on her phone asking if the editing of the photos worked, when I confronted her she admitted it. I left then and there, then obviously I saw you at the game and then it's like my mind snapped and I broke and I realised that all that time was a blur, like I had no real idea what happened, I went to the doctor and he explained what happened so I went private into the unit to get the help as I needed to get better to be able to be here now. I wanted my family back, I wanted my wife back. All I had in my room there was our wedding photo and a photo of us and Teddy. You both were my motivation to keep going." I'm crying at his honesty, I lean forward and hug him tight "I'm so sorry" I say to him and he instantly says "you don't need to apologise for anything" i wipe my tears and say "I do, I didn't notice anything was wrong, when we broke I acted like I didn't care when truthfully I did, after me and the boys went clubbing I got home and broke down to Jack, I couldn't sleep or anything." He wipes my tears and says "I'll do whatever it takes to be yours again" I smile and hold his hand "I don't think you ever stopped being mine. You're still under Husband with a red heart on my phone" I giggle at the last bit, so does he as he says "To be honest you're still under MyWife with a heart on mine. I never want to be anyone else's ever" I hold his hand and play with his wedding ring. "Have you got mine with you?" He looks shocked but says "always" as he gets it out of his wallet. I hold my hand out to him "I think it's time they went back on don't you" he grins at me putting it on my finger then he pulls me onto his lap for a kiss. The kiss is deep and passionate, there is urgency for intimacy but it feels right being in each others arms. I cuddle up to him, then we hear Mason coming downstairs, he knocks on the door "is it alright to come in or do you need more time?" I laugh and tell him to come in, when he opens the door to see us cuddling he smiles "does this mean what I think it does" he says and we both laugh, I show him my hand with my wedding ring back on "yeah it does, your words really helped me" he runs forward and hugs me "I'm so happy and proud of you Addi, I love you little sis" I kiss his cheek "I love you too big bro." He then goes to Dec and hugs him "happy for you bro, but please don't hurt her again. Instead of going on self-destruct mode remember you've got lots of people who care about you and want to help. Love you bro" decs smile couldn't get bigger "no chance I'm risking losing her again, I love you too bro."
We all watch a film together, it gets to 10pm and Dec says "I better get going" I look up at him and say "stay the night, please" he smiles but then looks serious "are you sure? Like I don't want to rush things if you're not ready" I smile at him and pull his hand to sit back down "yes I'm sure, it's you're home. Well until the new ones are built. I'm sure Mason has got some clothes for you" he sits down and cuddles me "I've got spare training kit in the car" I laugh and say "oh yeah I forgot you keep one in there all the time."
By 11pm we all head up to bed and I pull Dec into my room. We're soon laying in bed and I'm in his arms, I can feel my eyes closing, so before I go to sleep I turn around and kiss his lips "goodnight babe, I'm glad we're okay. I know it'll be a little while to be back to how we used to be but right now I'm in your arms and I'm so happy. I love you" he smiles at me kissing me again "we'll be absolutely fine baby, we will get through it and I'm so happy too that I have you in my arms. I love you so much" after that we cuddle up and soon we both fall asleep. For the first time in months, I have a really good nights sleep.
